specialty and traditional selections

excellent loaves and values. a bakery at its core, the cafe also has high quality offerings with fresh roasted coffee. lunch options are limited but include soup, hummus toast, and vegan banh mi. the banh mi is some of the best you can get in cleveland based on the baguette alone, but the tofu is unseasoned and the optional herb dressing contains fish sauce. it's hard to find quality bread in the states, but otr helps bridge that gap while providing other options.

Pros: quality selections, fresh, friendly staff

Cons: no vegan pastries, cramped during rush hour, variable quality control

The BEST baguette you will have outside of France!

I love this place. They really take pride in what they do and provide the most authentic, most delicious bread in the area. The baguettes and sourdough breads are my favorite. They also usually have some quinoa salad and other items at lunchtime. Don’t skip the coffee! For a place that isn’t primarily a coffee shop, they have some of the best coffee around.
