came for meniu del dia because of all the great reviews and were greatly disappointed. starter was cold and made some time ago, soup heated in the microwave and served still quite cold. three different mains (lasagna, pasta bolognese and pesto pasta) were all were bland and just looked sad. would not recommend going for the daily meniu, maybe meniu a la carte is a better choice in this place

A must go if you're in Arequipa - Edit
My friend and I ate here 3 times while we were in Arequipa and it was fantastic every time. We ate the set menu and other things chosen of the al a carte menu. The portions are huge and the prices low. The service is friendly and quick and the surroundings are cute. I highly recommend this place.

Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Arequipa ! Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir kamen hier teilweise 3 mal am Tag zum Essen. Unbedingt die Kuchen probieren. Wechselnde Menüs, alle die ich probiert habe waren sehr, sehr lecker. Vielen Dank😄

Great food. Menu of the day is 12 soles -£3 - there was lentil salad, soup, a choice of mains inc pesto pasta and rice pudding desert. The garlic mushroom and fries is great. They serve really big portions, had to leave half but they let you take it with you.

Came into Omphalos for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the food. Ordered vegetable meatballs (falafel), vegetarian spring rolls (more like hallumi triangle pastries), Quinoa and chia burger with fresh cut Andean fries and it was amazing!

Personnel très sympathique et attentionné, plusieurs choix de plats à la carte dont des vegans. Menu du jour à 10 soles, toujours très copieux et avec du choix (4 choix de plats principaux). Seule petite déception pour notre part, les desserts peu savoureux !

We had pastas, grilled seitan and a smoothie. The sauce in the pasta was not good, weird taste. The seitan was dry and really lack of taste and the smoothie with soy milk was full of ice and tasteless. I don’t recommend this place.

This restaurant offers a day menu including an entree, a soup, a second dish (a few options to choose from) and a dessert for only 10 bs. The staff is very attentive and the service is fast. The courtyard is very cosy. I also had a vegan cake for dessert which was amazing! Don't miss this gem in Arequipa!

You get the most charming and accommodating owner who speaks English. Their set menu is incredible value at Sol 10. Food was fantastic, healthy and super tasty. She also does homemade vegan cakes which are to die for.

Given the reviews I was excited to come here for dinner. However the food was so bland that even after asking for picante and putting my own Tajín there was hardly any flavor. The fries were good. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, champi lomo saltado, but i couldn’t finish it. Perhaps lunch would be better.

I asked if the lunch of the day was all vegan and the server said yes but then let me order pasta with pesto that was just vegetarian for the 3rd course. The food is good but a bit too salty for me.

Mientras vivé en Arequipa para 4 meses yo visitado muchos tiempos Omphalos por el menu. Habia tres porciones , las sopas sepan siempre delicioso . Las platas principal tenían arroz y proteínas que llena mi estómago y los postres son simple, como que está normal en Perú. Mis amigos y familia veganos y vegetarianos disfrutan la comida también. La cuenta está barato. Heidi está una mujer muy amable. Muchas gracias para comida saludable, rico y real de Perú 🇵🇪

We had the daily menu for 10 sol and it was delicious! A salad, soup, pasta and s small pudding desert. A fresh jugo for 4 sol. Super healthy, veggie (vegan possible) and a good price. Many choice on the menu.
