Without having a plethora of vegan options or being the most original ones (cookies, banana bread) the prices are nice for the area and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Read moreThat said I would not hold my breath for it, sometimes they only have banana bread as a vegan option, which is the fruit salad of bakery.

Was a bit disappointed because they didn't have the vegan empanadas (the main reason why i chose that cafè). But the staff was really friendly and tried to find something else for me. They have vegan sandwiches, bagels (with vegan cheese) and also vegan sweets (cookies, alfajor). I hade the alfajor and it was really good!

Vegan cheese and avocado bagel 😊 - Edit
I asked for vegan breakfast options and was offered a vegan cheese and avocado bagel. Very high quality seeded bagel, fresh avocado and came with sundried tomato, fresh tomato and rocket. Coffee also very nice.

Es un espacio muy bonito, tienen varias opciones veganas, o bien, te veganizan algo si lo consultas. El chico que me atendió fue muy amable y resolvió todas mis dudas veganas jjsjs así que agradecida. Lo que pedí estaba muy rico y no es caro.

Ombú cafe is a really cute cafe clearly loved by locals. The staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help with dietary requirements. Very well priced too. A must if you’re nearby!

Really freindly English speaking staff with the nicest coffee ive had in barcelona on my trip, great few vegan options cakes & food, nice clean modern quirky cafe with inside & out seating would highly recommend 👌
