I've read you can also go there just to eat, but why not go there for a week? You'll be grateful to yourself for doing it.
Pros: Very positive energy, Really good home-made food, you can get a complete package with yoga, surf, st
Cons: The food is so good you might find yourself eating, You don't want to go home after a week

what a wonderful experience - Edit
We are travelling portugal and having a really hard time finding good vegan places. We were so happy to discover omsassim ,which is a new vegetarian hostel for yoga lovers but not just. We arrived there afte reading about the place online and it wouldn't be a lie to say that spending the evening there was one of the magical experiences of our trip.

wonderful view . The owner Lia was so nice over the phone -*make sure to call or write them on facebook to maker reservation and see if there are vegan options that day*. The place is vegeterian but when we ate there only one dish was not vegan. After eating chips and bread for a week it was so refreshing to have a really health and tasty dinner. Soup, rice with veg, avocado salad, tufu marinated-all so good and home made. It's also a lovely experience to share the dinner table with the hostel residents. We met great peoole from england, Australia, Greece and had such a good conversation.we paid 9 euros pe person for a buffet -no drinks included, very reasonable price.
Pros: gold quality food, beautiful place,
