Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant. Menu includes 2 page of vegetarian choices - ask which are or can be vegan. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-11:00pm.
We ordered Dahl and Chickpea Masala in medium spicy (as this is usually the limit of what we can take in Indian restaurant) but the dishes were mild for our taste. Anyway it was yummy and good to eat some lentils and chickpeas again, as legumes are not really common in Vietnamese cuisine. The male staff member speaks English well.
The male member of staff was very helpful in advising us what was vegan. He was as attentive as he could be considering the restaurant was busy and the other staff were busy on their phones. The food was excellent.
Sadly disappointed with the owners attitude and the food... :( - Edit
*Don't eat here if you are vegan* I am the kind of person who never leaves a bad review unless something truly offends me (like serving me meat as I am vegetarian) and usually if the person feels bad I am so quick to be okay with it! People make mistakes. But my boyfriend and I ate here last night and we had a great conversation with the owner and it came up that we are vegan and dairy, meat, and egg free and he helped us order. He spoke English very well so communication was no problem. But when we ate our meals halfway through we realized my boyfriend was eating chunks of cheese in a dish he specifically asked the owner to be without cheese. Mistakes happen, but he was so unapologetic about it and basically said it was "just a little bit of cheese" and didn't even apologize. He brought us a new one but my boyfriend has a dairy ALLERGY and how could he not be worried about that and apologize? We didkt get an apology or even a goodbye. It was very uncomfortable, and luckily we didn't let it ruin our evening but it was an expensive meal and we felt disrespected. Don't eat here if you are vegan, I don't think the owner really cares...
We went to this place a few times at their branch in Hoi An which is great. Heaps of veggie options . Although it was super busy when we went the service was slow we waited about 30 minutes to get served but it was wel worth it in the end because the food is simply to die for! If your craving something different to Vietnamese food I highly recommend it. Prices are dear and the portion depends on what you order but I loved it every time!
