Waar wachten we op? - Edit
De bediening liet ons behoorlijk lang wachten stond te treuzelen en met elkaar te praten en zagen dat we al even wachte maar kwam niet naar ons toe. Het restaurant was vrijwel leeg maar volgens de serveerder was er geen plek meer binnen. Best vreemd voor de lunch tijd en zonder gereserveerd bordjes op de tafels.
Read moreWe mochten wel buiten zitten maar dan moesten we binnen bestellen. Op de tafels lagen geen kaarten dus die wilden we binnen ophalen en de serveerder reageerde daar heel bot op en kwam ze toen uiteindelijk nog zelf brengen.
Wij zijn daarna weg gegaan omdat we hier geen goed gevoel bij hadden.

At first we waited for a long time at the entrance to be seated. Then he told us that there was waiting time to be seated. (Half of the restaurant was empty). He could't tell us how long the waiting time would be. We asked if we could sit outside to eat on the terrace. He said yes but we have to order inside.
Read moreThat was fine for us. We went outside and there was no menu, i thought to go in an ask, to lift the load. Because he was clearly busy (with wat I do wonder). He told me in a heated tone that I need to give him a few minutes. He gave it very irritated and we decided to go. We didn't like the way hè treated us.

Very good pizza! The pizzas are clearly labelled on the menu if they are vegetarian or vegan and some with a leaf symbol can be made vegan. The vegan cheese was nice. We had vegan margheritas and vegan Capricciosa without the ham. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. There was also one vegan pasta dish although we didn’t try that.

Ordered a pizza that had rocket and pine nut seeds on top. They can make a lot of pizzas on their menu vegan! Vegan cheese was a bit iffy but with some salt and pepper it was pretty nice. However they originally served a pizza with actual cheese on!! I double checked and the staff member was very apologetic. They also had a really nice drinks menu.

The staff were nice but there was only really one pasta option so we went for pizza. People have raved about the cheese but otherwise I thought it was sticky. Pizza was otherwise pretty bland. Cocktails were OK. Nice view

They don’t have explicitly vegan items, but they put a little leaf next to the items that can be made vegan. About 5 or 6 options to choose from, all pizza or pasta. They used vegan cheese when veganizing and it’s absolutely delicious. Had the caprese, veganized. My girlfriend had the linguine, veganized.

All pastas and pizzas can be made GF, I can confirm it’s delicious GF! Also, GF peronis (beer).
Outside of food, vibey/good ambiance and great wine selection. Reasonably priced.
You’ll definitely see one of the few Olivia’s in Bergen during your stay, so be sure to check one out. It’s worth your time & the meal!

As a flight attendant I get to see a lot of restaurants. This restaurant is a big machine and touristic bút the pasta was really really good.

Only one vegan main (pizza) but was clearly labelled. Had two entrees that could be vegan. Probably 6 or so vegetarian mains. They had a few vegetarian salads that looked they could be easily veganable.
Read morePizza that I had was yum, and the vibe was great. Would come back again. Bergen in general seems to be pretty limited in options, so I was happy to be fed in a nice restaurant close to my hotel 😊

Touristy and expensive for limited vegan choices - Edit
This Italian restaurant is a big machine, a bit touristy. Two vegan dishes are clearly indicated on the menu, a pizza without vegan cheese but with a vegan mayo and a dish of linguine alla putanesca, as well as two starters (olives and cashew nuts). So there is not much choice for vegans. The place is chic and pleasant but impersonal and expensive. I had the linguine pasta which were good, well served but not huge in terms of quantity. You can go there if you really need Italian food or to eat near the port.
