Read moreBeing welcomed in a warm fashion, we took up the modern, but cosy atmosphere of the restaurant. Fancy, but not in a pretentious way. It was quiet on this tuesday night, but the few people that were in the restaurant were visibly enjoying their evening in a radiant manner.
Everything on the menu - changing every season - sounded mouthwatering and we had a hard time choosing. We chose to share an antipasti, primi, secondi and dessert.
The 'bon bon croccanti dal cuore morbido' was a pleasant starter. A delicately tasty miniburger made from softly cooked lentils, veggies and a crispy sesame outer layer that served as a perfect dish to warm up our taste buds.
The primi was like fireworks on your tongue. The 'Lasagne Arcobaleno (rainbow lasagne)' - made with homemade lasagne sheets from peas- was a colourful gathering of different delicious vegetables that I felt honoured to be a guest at. Layer after layer I carefully internalised every bite, fearing it would come to an end. Not being extremely hungry upon arrival made it possible to approach this fine dish with a lot of patience and attention.
The secondi: 'Fagottini Alla Provenzale' - a ravioli-like pastry stuffed with tofu and a rich tomato sauce. As being a follow-up on the lasagne, not a final element of surprise unfortunately. Nevertheless a creation from an artisinal and authentic Italian kitchen.
Having got excited by the creativity shown in the last three courses, we decided to go also for a dessert. Instead of creativity we were surprised with another talent the kitchen had not revealed so far: vegan patisserie. We were served a cheesecake, but one that made all past cheesecakes - especially the non-vegan ones - vanish into thin air.
Originally presented as a wine bar, I wasn't missing out on anything. This food is seriously good without a fitting pairing.
Jokingly we said that we should visit again before our holiday in Italy ended. I don't think that idea will stay a joke. A very sincere recommendation.

Vi ho trovati grazie a Happy cow e le recensioni promettevano bene. Sono riuscita a convincere il mio capo e il mio collega (decisamente non vegani) e la cena, superlativa, si è conclusa con i complimenti dei 2 onnivori per le pietanze assaggiate. Io mi sono sognata la delizia di pompelmo rosa tutta la notte. Sarete la mia tappa fissa per ogni mia trasferta milanese. Grazie!!!

Went there couple of times, the food is amazing. It's all organic, homemade, and tastes great. The restaurant is not big but it's very cute. The owners are also super friendly.

I ate here for lunch and opted for the fixed price lunch deal. It was a great value, at €13 for a main dish(there are several options to choose from), water, a small dessert, and a coffee. The server was very nice and helpful with providing me options for my wheat allergy. She brought out special bread and made sure to point out the main dishes that were gluten free(it was also marked on the menu!). I had the veggie Farinata, which was absolutely delicious!

Ristorante stupendo (come si puó vedere nella seconda foto) ed il cibo è buonissimo (anche se costicchia e bisogna aspettare un po).

Il menu cambia ogni settimana (quindi consiglio di cercare il nome del ristorante su instagram perche qua su google maps purtroppo non viene aggiornato).

Siamo andati ieri sera e abbiamo preso il bis di primi, secondi e contorni (23€) che è consigliato la prima volta per assaggiare più cose. Era tutto veramente squisito. Come dessert c'erano la Savertorte e un dolce al cucchiaio alla panna e fragole: ho scelto la sacher ed era davvero buonissima. Sicuramente tornerò presto.

EDIT: Non ho capito perché per ben due volte io e mia sorella, a distanza di mesi, siamo state trattate con sgarbo di fronte alla nostra gentile richiesta di poter prendere dei dolci da asporto. Non è questo il modo di lavorare nè di trattare delle clienti che chiedono una cosa assolutamente ragionevole in maniera gentile. Tutt'ora non ho capito quale sia il motivo, visto che ci hanno solo risposto in maniera superficiale e maleducata senza dare alcuna spiegazione. Ricordate, si può dire qualsiasi cosa, ma con le dovute maniere!
Sarei grata se qualcuno potesse illuminarmi.

The food was really good and this was probably the first vegan restaurant that gave me the feeling of eating traditional vegan cuisine, which I really appreciated. I recommend the seitan with mushrooms, the baked potatoes, the pumpkin lasagna and the mousse with chocolate crumble.

Locale nuovo e arredato con gusto, caldo e accogliente. Cucina buonissima, leggera e delicata: ho mangiato una lasagna con zucca e porri, patate arrosto, torta al limone con crema chantilly e mirtilli. Il locale offre anche il servizio d’asporto. Lo consiglio a tutti!
