An absolute treat! - Edit

Beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere, and delicious food. The crab cakes are a must try!! We ordered one of two desserts offered that night, a chocolate tart with raspberries, and every bite was like heaven.

Pros: All vegan , Beautiful, romantic restaurant, Delicious food!

Good but had better - Edit

Reading the reviews and having already tried Plant Food & Wine (PF&W) in LA by Matthew Kenney, we had our expectations raised very high. Whilst this is in a beautiful location and the food is really good and healthy, it is missing the “wow” factor. PF&W has some incredible “cheffie” dishes that would make a non-vegan wonder why they’re still eating meat. However, Oliver’s food was merely “very tasty”. I ordered the tostada with wild mushrooms - the most expensive item on the menu - which was good but I would call it simply “salad”. The millet polenta was also okay, a bit bland tbh, missing some kind of sauce or glazing.

Pros: Great to see a vegan restaurant so popular, It doesn’t even label itself as “vegan”, Tasty, healthy food; beautiful place

Cons: Pricey for what you get, PF&W has more “wow” food for the same price

Beautiful delicious dishes. Worth the money. Had such a lovely dinner. Highly recommend the crab cakes, ceviche, and apple crumble.

Upscale Vegan Dining -- Finally! - Edit

Finding an upscale vegan dining experience is a rarity, and in Oliver's, we found a true gem. We sat out on the lovely patio overlooking the lower village of Montecito, and started our meal with the "crab" cakes and butternut squash soup. The cakes were delicious and enhanced by a corn salad. The soup was garnished with toasted pepitas for crunch. Our entrees were the farro risotto and the tostada. Both were excellent, as was the side of roasted potatoes. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, without being obtrusive. We shared a chocolate tarte for dessert, and would have each and every dish again. Of course, that is after trying every other item on the menu. Highly recommend!

Terrific dinner at Oliver’s - Edit

Had the vegan ‘crab cakes’ which were superb and the Lotus bowl, also delicious. Side of brussel sprouts with dates and maple sherry glaze. Yum. Great service.

Loved everything about it. Gorgous restaurant, great menu and felt like a super upscale dining experience. A rare find for vegan food.

Pros: nice variety menu, loved the pear Gorgonzola flatb

Cons: cauliflower steak not super exciting but good.
