Good food, though small portions in the veg combo

There aren't a lot of veg options in Farmington, but Olive Tree at least has some. The food is good quality, especially the hummus and babaganoush. However, the portions are quite small, including that you get just one somewhat small piece of pita bread with the vegetarian combo (which they confirmed is vegan)--maybe one could ask for an extra piece of pita bread.

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Small portions

Great food, but wasteful packaging

Olive Tree is debatably the best choice for healthy meals in Farmington. Their falafel sandwich is vegan, tasty, and very reasonably priced. The hummus and dolmas are good, too.

If you’re considering take-out, best to bring your own reusable containers, as otherwise they use a tragic amount of plastic and styrofoam for to-go orders — and some items (such as the dolmas) are served in plastic even for dine-in orders, so we don’t order them unless we’ve brought our own reusable takeout containers.

Prices are reasonable.

Good vegan options

The description of this place says it all. We tried the tabouli and an order of falafel. The salad was great and came with a very good dressing. The falafel was good and came with a tahini dressing.

Pros: Fast service, Clean, Nice staff

Nice restaurant

Good vegan options. The falafel sandwich was very good. My husband liked the baba ghanousch. The lentil soup was blah, no flavor at all.

Mediterranean in Farmington-What a surprise.

Fresh and fast Mediterranean food. They offer appetizers, sandwiches, and vegan entrées. The entrée includes several items, including two dolmas. Wish the dolmas were wrapped larger.

The staff is friendly and the location is clean. Was told that they’ve been in business for 1-1/2 years and that they have a second location in the Animas Mall. I was unable to verify that.

Pros: Fresh, Clean

Cons: Dolmas very small

Veggie Option

The first review gives all the details. We just want you to know that getting a veggie meal in this part of New Mexico is not easy. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

A Veg-Option Oasis

Olive Tree is currently the only Mediterranean / Middle Eastern cuisine in town, and the vegan options are great! It's one of the few places in town with several vegetarian/vegan options already available on the menu, so it's nice not to have to customize everything when ordering.😄While listed as appetizers, the hummus (served with warm pita bread) and falafel are both filling and delicious! The falafel sandwich is fantastic and 100% vegan as-is. The Turkish coffee is excellent! Unfortunately, all of the deserts have dairy products in them. The staff is kind, and the restaurant is immaculate. They also have outdoor picnic seating with a playground, perfect for enjoying a meal on warmer days. Located right off of E Main St in Downtown Farmington, it's an ideal place to enjoy a meal and check out the locally owned shops and businesses in the area.
