Olive in Innsbruck impresses with delicious food and friendly, warm staff. The burger with portobello mushrooms was good – interesting flavors and well made, although the consistency did take some time to get used to. The quesadillas were also tasty, but a bit small for €10. Overall, however, it is a nice restaurant with good food and a pleasant atmosphere – highly recommended!

My main course was a portobello mushroom burger on a homemade sesame bun that really impressed me. The bun itself was a standout, and the mushroom was enormous, juicy, and perfectly prepared. The burger came with potato wedges and a creamy herb sauce that was seasoned so thoughtfully—it felt indulgent yet fresh.
For dessert, a rich brownie with ice cream, paired with a decaf macchiato. Everything was absolutely divine, the perfect ending to the meal.
The menu is small, but every dish feels intentional and homemade from start to finish. Nothing fussy—just real, lovingly prepared food that highlights the flavors of each ingredient. Good wine and spritz menu with alcohol free drinks too!
If you’re in Innsbruck, don’t miss this place. 100% recommend Olive for anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying vegan dinner in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We had not booked in advance, and the restaurant was full (on a Tuesday evening in September), but the lovely staff let us come and sit at the bar. Service was slow, because the place was so busy, but the ambience is very pleasant, so it was not a problem.

It had a mix of avocado, some kind of squash, and a flavoursome white sauce, as well as moist, delicious, freshly made felafel. My friend had the Portobello mushroom burger. Everything was well flavoured, well presented, and of good quality. At around €17, the mains are not cheap, but are perfectly reasonable by 2025 standards.
I’m only giving four stars just because the choice of dishes is so restricted, but it’s a great place, and the staff are lovely, so it’s no wonder it is so busy! It would be nice to have an option to book on line, for those of us who are scared to speak German on the phone.

Really nice that Olive serves on weekdays a 2-course lunch for only 14 euro. Way to go to spread veganism!

Best Place for Vegan Dinner in Innsbruck! - Edit
We had such an amazing dinner at Olive. We ordered mains, deserts and drinks and everything was expertly prepared and tasted like heaven. And it was such a great experience to find a fully vegan restaurant in Austria where you can just order anything.

I saw a lot of good comments and reviews when researching this restaurant so had high hopes, especially as some had said that this was the best food they had had in a long time. When we arrived, it was quite busy but staff were still attentive and seated us straight away. I ordered the second option, Spelt piadina with homemade cashew mozzarella and pesto. It came with a salad that contained dates and a nice dressing, the salad was enjoyable as the components went together well. The piadina itself was very bland and I couldn’t taste the pesto at all, even when I tried to taste it by itself. The mozzerella was melted and soft which was nice but the mozzarella itself tasted sweet and didn’t blend that well with the rest of the piadina. My partner ordered the avocado burger that came with wedges. They said that the wedges were fluffy and went well with the cashew cream cheese but that the burger itself was quite bland and overall quite flavourless.

Accueil agréable, accepte les chiens avec une gamelle d'eau. Le service était bien. Les entrées (soupe de champignons et salade) nous ont plus. La lasagne manquait peut être de béchamel, bonne dans l'ensemble, la salale qui l'accompagne, mélange sucré salé parfaite. Mon copain a pris un burger avec des potatoes avec une sauce type tartare, très bon et copieux.
