Fabulous Falafel

Family run business; owner very aware of vegan requirements. Best falafel I've ever had ....... and, after 50 years of being vegetarian then vegan, I've had a few 🤣🤣. Great value meal with salad, tahini and a wrap too. Enjoy xx

Pros: Awareness , VfM, Freshness

Tiny restaurant, some steps behind the promenade, vegan options

Tiny kitchen with barely space to stand, but fresh and tasty. You can easily take your Falafel wrap with you and enjoy eating it at the harbour front 30m away.
Regarding taste, this place seems to be underrated.

Pros: Some vegan meals, Relatively cheap, nice stuff, easy to reach, Tasty Falafel

Cons: No options to sit, Subsequent confusing opening times, Still offers meat

Good falafel wrap to tack away

Takeaway with vegan and vegetarian options. For two we ate the falafel wrap which was really good, freshly made. I didn't like the Thyme (Zaatar) sandwich. And the moutabal was too oily for my taste.
Prices are relay cheap. And food is made in minutes in front of you.

Pros: Cheap, Fast, Falafel

Cons: Thyme , Moutabal

Nice surprise

I found this place by accident while I was looking for falafels in Sliema. The place is hidden in a small street next to the promenade. Many vegan and vegetarian options for affordable price. Very nice staff - one of the workers gave me and two other customers a fresh made falafel to try while we were waiting for our order. The original falafel that I ordered from the menu cost me only 6€ but was pretty filling and tasty.

Pros: Clearly labeled V-options, Very nice staff, Cheap

Cons: Only takeaway

Best thing we had in Malta

I tried to find a pic of the Thyme (Zaatar) sandwich we had but I guess I was too excited to just eat it the second time we ordered to remember to take a picture.
We ordered in to our hotel twice from these folks. I’ve never had ka’ak bread before (what the sandwiches are on), and I don’t understand how - so good! The hummus and moutabal were fantastic, and I took notes on the tajin salad to try and make it at home. The saj bread was also delish, lovely and soft.
They have loads of vegan options including a vegan kibbeh and beyond burger, but for sure get the Thyme Sandwich and tajin salad!
