Bored with sorbet? - Edit

No matter how much one loves raspberry, seeing others stroll about with a fondly remembered scoop perched tantalizingly on top of a cone can be tiresome. Olive Dolci satisfies committed vegans' nostalgic yens with traditional flavors of nice cream, including stracciatellla, or "chocolate chip" (childhood preference of mine), and pistachio (my favorite of later years); both were perfection, not remotely icy or otherwise unsatisfying. Those more adventurous will be delightedly intrigued by gelato made from red wine, baobab, pine nuts, cherry liqueur, Nonna Lella (dairy-free Nutella), and many other high-quality ingredients. Everything is vegan, right down to the cones.

Pros: Fabulous assortment, superb products
