vegan options and beautiful space

This place has a small menu but the items are flavourful and fresh. The place itself is really cozy and modern with lots of plants, white space and large live-edge wood tables. It seems to be a favourite for people to sit on their laptops so the few spots fill quickly.

*update: we recently went back and noticed there was no longer public wifi - probably since people would stay and work there which meant here was no seating left. This actually makes sense because we’ve often wanted to go there for lunch but there was no seating so have walked out.

Pros: great vegan options, beautiful space

Cons: double check items marked vegan, small space can fill quickly, No longer have public wifi

Cozy new spot!

My first two experiences with Olive and Ruby so far hasn't blown me away. I have never tried anything from their food menu, I've just had their coffee and smoothies. The service was decent but nothing special and so was the smoothie I had. It had chunks of fruit the size of golf balls. I'm really not too picky with my smoothies and I appreciate how fresh their fruit is but this was a bit ridiculous. Overall the atmosphere was really cozy but I'm a little uncertain about this place.

Pros: coffee

Cons: not 100% vegan, chunky smoothie
