Oliva Grill with a Seafront Thrill - Edit
An enticing menu with vegan options. Nestled just inside swanky camping site Valamar Camping Ježevac, Oliva Grill is catering for all. There are vegan options alongside what you would otherwise expect. Choose your dishes whilst watching the world go by. Have a drink whilst the sun goes down. Be vaguely impressed with the anchored boats and skilfully manoeuvred jet skis alike. We ordered the vegan burger plus Oriental seitan skewers, having read how delicious the latter were. The burger was impressive! We both enjoyed that plus it comes with chips and a BBQ sauce. The skewers, however, were uninspiring and I could not fathom the Oriental connection, notwithstanding loads of sesame seeds! It arrived perched on a large bed of slaw which was cabbage, carrot and mayo. I really enjoyed the slaw but simply felt let down by the main player.

We experienced a bit of trouble going to the place since it is inside the Valamar Camping Village (you have to walk into it to find the restaurant) easily accessible though.

We had the Mediterranean Eggplant Ragout and the Oriental Seitan Skewers. And heck we were not disappointed. The Skewers are absolutely fantastic 😌👌🏻
The Ragout was nice too but had little eggplant and tasted more like pasta with lentils.
As of Aug 2025 they have 5 vegan options on the menu. The burger sadly was not available when we tried to order.
Overall a recommendation!

Vegan options only for the looks - Edit
There were 4 vegan options on the menu but only 3 available (no vegan carbonara, I had the impression that it's not available at any time). We ordered the burger and the caesar salad. The burger patty tasted good, the sides were okay, nothing special. The salad was disappointing. It mainly consisted of salad leaves and sauce which tasted like a mix of mayonnaise and vinegar. There were croutons and some soy chunks on top, but two ingredients from the menu (beetroot and vegan cheese) were missing. I (kindly) told the waiter afterwards and he hadn't had an answer for me. Also he was friendly before but after I confronted him, he barely came to our table or spoke with us.
