Beautiful setting

The restaurant grounds are gorgeous, directly opposite Cloudehill. There is a vegan menu and it’s delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating. It would be perfect for a romantic dinner, NOT for a catch up with friends and kids. Major downside is the live lobster tank. I feel like maybe it shouldn’t be on here bc of that?

Pros: Romantic setting in the forest , Tasty food, Not overly expensive for a fancy place

Cons: The blue butterfly drink was weird, There’s no range of vegan desserts, Live lobster tank ☹️

Pleasant

Beautiful green location. There is a separate vegan menu but you have to ask for it. Cherry blossom latte mild and pink and pleasantly floral. Good slight spice and flavour to the dumplings.

Cons: Live sea animal tank

Many options, good portion

The eggplant were the highlight for me. I had the vegan sweet and sour pork and it was ok but a bit chilli would have been nicer. Portions were big. They have a full separates vegan menu.

Bad for animals despite vegan friendliness

There's a separate vegan menu and the food is good, but there are also tanks with live fish and crays which is completely cruel.

Basically, they cater to vegans but continue to harm animals, so why not spend your money elsewhere?

Cons: Live animals in tanks, for eating

Too expensive

Tourist prices. We went with a 50% off food discount through The Fork app. We tried the plum tomatoes, spring rolls, dumplings, stir fried garlic beans and shredded potato. The food was good but not outstanding and certainly not worth their original pricing. I left still hungry. The staff were also a bit useless. I'm pretty sure they forgot to send away for mains because we waited a long time after our entree and two people came over and asked if we still had food coming. It was cool to try with the discount but I won't be back. There are plenty of other veg asian places to eat that have bigger servings, better taste and cheaper.

Pros: vegan menu, warm, cute fireplace, nice area

Cons: expensive, no vegan desserts

Special

We dined here on a 50% off Dimmi's special and ate our way through 1/3 of the vegan menu, including the hot and sour soup, san choy bau, pan-fried dumplings, stir fried Chinese broccoli in garlic sauce and the eggplant with potato and capsicum, plus some steamed rice and tea. All of the selections were very well presented and prepared but probably would not represent good value at twice the price.

The gardens outside the restaurant look quite stunning and would be a great setting for a function.

Great food and a really cool restaurant

The restaurant itself looks really cool and we were seated outside on the swinging table and chairs. There was a seperate vegan menu with options of stir fry’s, noodles, dumplings and soups. Big drinks menu with soy milk available. The staff were very lovely and the food was awesome. Dumplings are quite small for their price but you must try the eggplant, potato and capsicum stir fry. The potato really makes it.

Pros: Seperate vegan menu with variety , Gorgeous location, Try the swinging chairs

Cons: Forgot one meal ordered
