Unexpected vegan options

Old Man River has been a summer staple of the area for decades, and for a long time they had nothing vegan. (For a while they even had a menu item called "Vegan Nightmare" with all the meats. Har har.) But they appear to be under new management and now have a separate vegan section on the menu! (It is most certainly cooked on the same grills as the meat though, if that bothers you.)

I got the "Bunny Dog," a giant, grilled marinated carrot. You can also get a burger- your choice between Beyond Burger or a housemade veggie burger, and they offer vegan cheese as well. Overall, the food is not the MOST amazing, but you're there for the quirkyness, not the quality.

It's nice to have an easy place to take omni friends and family on a summer night.
