Ordered a vegan burger and it came with non vegan coleslaw on the plate. Only reason I realised was that my Omni husband had the same on his plate too.
Read moreI asked the person who brought it out and they told me it was vegan but that they'd double check that it was ‘dairy free’. He came back out and assured me it was dairy free. Luckily I still wasn't convinced and had put it to the side because he then came back telling me it wasn't vegan as it had egg in it. Shock, mayonnaise that has egg in it.
I told the lady who seemed to be in charge and she could not have given less of a care about it and just passed it off as a new chef. What chef doesn't know basic allergens though? No apology given.
Personally wouldn't ever go back here.

Food we had was tasty and good portions, limited choice of vegan options but suited us as kids are omni. Tried the bang bang cauliflower starter (had as a main) and the falafel, chickpea stew with flatbread, both v nice. Vegan spiced apple cake with ice cream for pud was delicious. Owners very friendly, nice log fire on the go. Looked like there was an outdoor area for warmer months.
