Incredible food & atmosphere

I'm in Oxford for work and came here for lunch. It was so packed I thought I was going to have to share a table. That would have been fine, but a table became free. I got the mezze bowl, which was delicious 😋 There was a wonderful warm atmosphere and it's a fantastic cause!

Disappointing, but passable

I was dissapointed here. The place was not that busy and they seemed to have a high staff to customer ratio. I had a hallumi and falafel wrap with fatayer sabanikh. I asked for a macha tea but to be brought with my meal.

They brought me my drink over and realized their mistake and I said I didn't want it until the meal so they took it away. I received my food and the hallumi was very dry, so it was grilled then reheated later? Forgettable wrap. The spinich filled pastries were interesting and I did enjoy their earthy flavor with the beetroot sauce.

I finished my meal, and had to remind the waitress of my tea. They seemed inexperienced, not happy with service and food was mediocre. I was hungry and it filled me, 2/5 instead of only 1 because of the fatayer sabanikh.

Pros: Got rid of my hunger, Tried something new

Cons: Bland, Inexperienced staff

Lovely place

The staff was polite and we were served promptly. We tried the Mezze bowl and soup. The soup was delicious and came with plenty of flatbread on the side. The Mezze bowl was a good way to try a bit of everything. It was a bit too spicy to my liking, but to fair, I can't handle much heat. I enjoyed it but I'd probably choose something else next time.

Pros: Lovely staff, Quick service, Supports the community

Thoroughly excellent - and reservations definitely not required!

Cute space overflowing with customers for good reason. We had the mezze plate which was a substantial snack for two, the falafel and potatoes amongst the best of their kind. Many cheap side plates to combine tapas style. Excellent matcha /latte, and even a pea milk mocha! The charity wokery aspect is a welcome added bonus to the overall package. If I lived in Oxford I'd be here most days.

Pros: Great food, Great service, It's all for charity too

Good food and a great bunch

A social enterprise supporting refugee women who cook up tasty and gene-rose veggie / vegan food for brunch / lunch. A lovely ambience and nice coffee also make it a good spot for meetings!

Good middle Eastern food

Good food and friendly service. Not the best middle Eastern food I've had but definitely decent!
