Vegan-friendly
Take-out
Vegan with the exception of the cones not being certified vegan because of the sugar; however, everything is egg and dairy free. Always have two soft serve flavors with a rotating menu. Also has hard scooped ice cream on a regular basis, as well, also on a rotating menu. Open Sat-Sun 1:00pm-5:00pm.

Amaaaaazing vegan creemees and ice cream! - Edit
Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had and it’s completely vegan! Tons of different flavors and variety. Most recently I’ve been enjoying their cider donut (local from Sweet Alchemy) sundaes.
Read moreSo sad to see they’re closing their stand and moving onto wholesale! I sincerely hope to see their ice cream in our local stores sooner than later.
Pros: Great flavors, Reasonable prices, Tons of variety
Cons: That they’re closing their stand 😭

Omg so good - Edit
Excellent flavors! So fun to get a soft serve option too. So affordable. $3.25 for a respectable one scoop. That’s a great price, esp for vegan ice cream. Coconut based but didn’t have that distinct coconut taste. I wish we had one closer to home!

Amazing ice cream treats! - Edit
Vegan soft (ube & vanilla when we visited) and hard ice cream — and sundaes, milkshakes, floats, toppings … I got a pretzel brownie batter sundae with hot fudge and caramel sauce. So good! And the best thing: NO TREE NUTS on the menu! Def worth a drive.

Super duper tasty vegan ice cream & creemees - Edit
Yummmm, dreaming of Offbeat in the cold months and when I move away from VT. They have some super creative hard ice cream flavors! Plus, you can add a creemee swirl on top for the ultimate adventure. Located right next to a public pool so there could be a line - it moves quickly though and is well worth the wait!

So yummy! - Edit
They have such good ice cream! I bought two pints: stroopwafel and maple, and both were delicious. I'm looking forward to having the maple with an apple dessert soon. I also got an oreo ice cream sandwich that was really good. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area! I'm excited to go back the next time I'm around and try their soft-serve and sundaes. Also really nice folks working there.

Unique, handcrafted ice cream - Edit
Friendly, cool little window, by the local pool, BIPOC woman owned. Sundays, shakes, soft serve, scoops, nice variety of interesting offbeat flavors like ube and Matcha, but also more traditional like vanilla, mint, and brownie batter…

Epic vegan creamery - Edit
So difficult to choose between the options but we went for a snack sized creemee and a scoop of the berry cheesecake with salted caramel topping. Hard to pick which one we liked more! The creemee came out with some lovely unexpected sprinkles and the consistency was great. The hard ice cream was great as well. The price was super reasonable and with the two options and a sticker it only came to $10 (in Boston it would be close to that for each item). The portion was generous as well and I couldn’t get over how mine was the snack size!

all vegan! - Edit
It's impressive that there is an all-vegan creemee (soft serve) stand in dairy-centric Vermont. And the menu has several other options besides creemee's - there are also a few rotating scoop flavors, a selection of toppings, and you can get sundaes, shakes, floats, cones, and pints. We went twice during a visit to the area. The maple creemee was delicious, and we also tried scoops of the brownie batter ice cream.
Read moreNo seating or indoor access, it's just a window located in front of the building where there is an outdoor community pool and across from a ball park (you don't need to enter the pool area to access the window). We sat in the grass in the shade of some trees to eat ours and it was enjoyable. I believe the hours expand when the pool is open. We went in mid-May and they were only open Sat/Sun afternoons.
BIPOC woman-owned.
