Green shop and health cafe in the centre of Den Bosch. Everything is vegan, house-made and organic. Serves vegan chai latte, fresh juices & smoothies, fair trade & organic speciality coffee, healthy raw sweet treats, vegan smoothie bowls and lunch / snack options with influences from all over the world such as wraps, salads, soups and a vegan cheese platter. It is what they rave it to be. The plants and green image are adding up to the experience. And the food is made with love. Be sure to get there early or late, because the place is quite busy around the weekend.

Erg gezellig voor een drankje met wat lekkers. Wel wat aan de dure kant. Ik vond de porties van de gerechten alleen wel echt aan de kleine kant. De opties (pitabrood/falafel) maken het wat vullender, maar ook gelijk erg duur. Niet aan te raden voor grote eters.

Oerwoud is a beautiful place to eat and relax or sit together with friends. The whole place is decorated with plants and the food is delicious. I had the rainbow wrap (very tasty and fresh) and a piece of cheesecake (also delicious, with constantly changing flavors). The staff is very friendly as well, and there was just nothing I didn't like.

Very nice and cosy place. The food was very good and it looked gorgeous. In another review I read they only have 5 tables. Apparently they expanded to 7. They also sell beautiful plants and goodies.

Hard to understand how there are any below-5-star reviews for this place. Amazing food and atmosphere (the place doubles as a plant shop). This is a mom and pop style not-only-vegan but hard won raw fresh and local elements. Maybe not for the deep-fried-fast- foodies our there, but for vegans who love the culture, health and real-food part of it all...

I was at oerwoud for a late lunch. But all lunch was sold out. Hoe Unlucky...So... had to make up my mind and ordered pastry. It was heavy. That together with a cold coffee (but with dates and other things in it) I was really full When leaving the place. Lucky me

We had a wrap filled with greens and cream cheese which was quite yummy (although it looked a bit messy ;) We also had the cheese platter which was really good! (But could use a bit more home made crackers). Chai latte and fresh fruit smoothie were also very good!

Read moreI had a smoothiebowl with avocado and vanille. You can choose your toppings. The taste was good so was the taste of the pina colada smoothie of my friend.
For lunch there is not much choice. You can choose a plate of crackers with spreads or a soup or salade but they don't have sandwiches. I hope they will add them in the future. The bananabread was a little bit dry but ok.

Thank you for the feedback! We have around 5 lunch options on the menu but also have extra lunch specials every week. Sometimes we have sandwiches as wel. Did you notice them?
