Fully vegan Spanish-Italian bistro. Has risotto, falafel, burgers, and many vegetable dishes. As of July 2025, is offering a six-course tasting menu, which must be booked in advance and be ordered by the entire party. Open Tue-Thu 13:30-16:00, Thu 20:30-22:30, Fri-Sat 13:30-16:30, Fri 20:30-23:00, Sat 20:00-23:00. Closed Sun-Mon.

Read moreThey serve Italian inspired dishes using seasonal vegetables. Dishes taste great and are really well thought through. It feels like fine dining but at normal prices :)
I had a daily special which was a soup and gnocchi.
Service is super friendly and also really fast.
The only downside is they only open at 13.30h which for me is late to have lunch

Read moreSi te pasas en metro recomiendo el camino desde Areeta, pasando por los parques Artaza y Pinosolo. Algo más largo, pero muy bonito, y acabas prácticamente en el restaurante.

Restaurante estrictamente vegano con platos muy bien elaborados. Martes, miércoles y jueves tienen disponible plato largo (menú del día). Increíble la tarta de "queso" tofu.

A fantastic vegetarian option in Leioa. Creative dishes, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Portions are generous and the service is warm and friendly. Great Dish of the day for 17,50€. There’s a small parking area nearby, right next to the Volkswagen dealership. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Los platos estaban brutales, son muy diferentes a todo lo que he probado. Pedimos una especie de albóndigas de garbanzos con tomate, risotto y tarta de chocolate. Además, las opciones sin gluten estaban bien marcadas en la carta y la mayoría de platos lo eran.

Honestly the best place to eat vegan in Bizkaia. Tasty and beautiful dishes, amazing service and good prices. Really worth going to Leioa for lunch! It is also easy to park nearby, or walking from the underground.

We ate at the restaurant and it was a very positive experience, for the food and for the staff. The waiter gave us all the details about the different options on the menu and in the end we opted for a board of semi-cured vegetables that pleasantly surprised us. Then we ate some delicious zucchini cannelloni stuffed with mushrooms with shitake sauce, some bites with chickpea meatballs and peperonata, very tasty, and we finished with a cheesecake that put the finishing touch to a very pleasant meal. And to top it off we had a very pleasant chat with Jose and Giusepe. Perhaps it's not the cheapest one but totally recommended if you want to eat something different from what most vegetarian/vegan restaurants offer. We will definitely be back.

By now I think I must have visited Oé Bistro about half a dozen times, and not once have I been disappointed. Whether I have been on my own, with (non-vegan) friends or parents, I think it's fair to say that everybody digs this place. Owner Giuseppe, himself a vegetarian, has provided top-notch vegan food from the get-go, and we can only hope he'll be able to find, and retain, personnel that enables him to keep the operation going at an appropriate level.
Read moreOn this latest occasion me and my company went for the sott'olio, an aubergine dish that felt new and exciting. However, due to the amount of vinegar and the fact that neither of us exactly loves that liquid, I must say it was the weakest part of the meal.
Always happy to try new dishes, we continued with the special ones of the day. It turned out the ravioli dish was more of a starter, while the potato mille-feuille served as a proper main course. We shared and loved them both, especially the sauce (chestnut?) of the former and the crispiness of the latter.
I have thought the desserts could perhaps be improved, or at least be something other than various cakes. You see, pannacotta or crème brûlée would certainly be right up my alley... but it just so happens that you can't mess with their tcizcake! Despite its dubious look (not only a result of a low-quality camera), even the most rabid tofu-hater would have to face the facts and regard this dessert as nothing short of a masterpiece.. and a perfect way to round out a very satisfactory meal.

The best thing about this place was service. They let us in only 15 min before closing which was much appreciated and our 4 legged companion was offered water. The server encouraged a friendly chat but also the chefs were checking on us each time they were passing by (from time to time they were also running food). Super nice.
