Absolutely wonderful

Definitely recommend , the cutest little shop and definitely the best pastel de nata I have tried !!! The chef creates wonderful pastries , on the day we visited I tried a lemon tart and oh my wasn’t it the best I’ve ever tasted !!!!! The crust was beautiful and the cream so soft , the taste wasn’t too much just perfect !!! Definitely definitely recommend !! The prices are v fair and worth it !

Pros: Excellent pastries, LGBTQ friendly , Vintage look

Tasty pastries

Odete Bakery has several shops in Porto. The pasteis de nata are particularly tasty (it’s possible to add cinnamon to make it even better !) and the sandwiches are really good (especially the one with the wasabi sauce).

Sourdough based bakery

Odete Bakery is located just on the edge of the centre of town. A small bakery with a handful of tables and chairs to eat in, but all food and drink is available to takeaway also. They specialise in sourdough bread which is exceptional, and this forms the basis of the sandwiches, toasties and pizzas on offer. In addition they offer a range of breakfast style pastries and fresh coffee. The friendly and welcoming vibe, reasonable prices and convenient location make this an ideal breakfast spot before heading into explore the centre.

Pros: Friendly and welcoming , Perfect for breakfast , Reasonably priced

Amazing bread and sandwiches!

The sandwiches were really nice. A little bit small but worth the price. There are some cheap variety of little quiches and sweet pastries to choose from.
The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was so nice!

Pros: Staff, The bread, The music and atmosphere

Cons: Small portions

Nice place for breakfast

Cozy and calm place, really nice coffee. The toast was good but the pastel de nata was not really up to the rest of the place. A bit more expensive than other places.

Pros: Coffee, Cozyness and music

Cons: Pastel de nata

Cozy and home-like

The coziest and nicest ambiance place I’ve been in Porto for breakfast. It’s small and only has five tables. But both times I went it was not busy.
A nice place to have toast and a coffee and relax.
They also have pastries, quiche and pizzas.

Solid options on a cozy space!

they have many options. the latte was good, i think it was caramel but i dont remember, but the pain au chocolat was so disappointing! dry, barely any chocolate and just not worth it!
The sandwiches were pricey (7,5€) for what they were but still good. The best was abigail!! Very tasty. The mediterranean was okay
The cake was great bc its huge and looks so filling but its actually quite light and fluffy!

Fav coffee spot

A perfect spot to grab a pastry and a coffee. We tried all the pastal de nata in porto and this was our fav vegan one. Also love the lemon tart and quiche! The food/lunch options aren't blow your mind good but are resonalably priced!

Nice breakfast spot

Tiny cafe with a small menu, but good latte and sandwiches. Great berry tarts and lemon meringue tarts. Tasty quiche. I also got a nata - not my favorite.

Pastel de Nata

We didn’t get here until the end of the day when they were mostly sold out of things, however we enjoyed the pastel de nata.

Disappointing visit

We waited for 45 minutes when we heard that the oven wasn’t hot yet. It would have been nice if we heard that when we ordered, than we would have ordered something else. After waiting for another ten minutes, we cancelled our order. A pity because we think it would have been great food.

The water for the tea hadn’t been boiled, but was lukewarm.

Vegan bread, sweets and coffee

Small cosy bakery having lots of sourdough bread options and also sweets. I tried a few options and I especially loved the quiche and sandwich. The pain au chocolate was quite dense. I’d definitely come back here and try some more!

Highly recommended for breakfast

This is a lovely little cafe with its own bakery in the back. We came here multiple times . The fruit and yogurt bowls were delicious. As were the croissants, cinnamon rolls and Patel de Natas! Miss it at your peril

Delicious baked goods

Really nice food, but unfortunately I got an Uber to the small branch with no seating, so make sure you go to the right one!
