If you like hummus you’ll like this place

The hummus and falafels were really good. Staff were friendly and understood ordering vegan, service was a tad slow.

Love this place!

The food is amazing and they have a lot of vegan options. I've tried just about everything vegan they have, and really enjoyed all of it. My favorites are the falafel sandwich, their pita bread, hummus, and baklavas. Good prices and good service.

Best Falafel Ever!

Okay, Wow! Seriously, though. The Falafel Sandwich I ordered was literally the best I have ever had. The baba ghanoush and hummus was good, but I’ve had better elsewhere. Then I ordered two Spinach Pies to-go. Popped them into the toaster oven and another ‘Wow’ moment. They were so tasty!

Pros: Good Vegan Choices

Cons: Wish it was closer to my home!

Pleasant surprise

I wasn’t expecting much from a Mediterranean restaurant in the middle of Nowhere, Nevada. But Odeh’s was a treat: the side of pita bread was fluffy, and the vegetarian (vegan) combo had creamy baba ganoush and hummus, crispy falafel, lemony dolmas, and fresh salads. There’s a list of veg*n items on the back of the menu. The waiter told me that the vegetarian combo is vegan without modifications, but you might want to specify when ordering other items like the red cabbage salad, which usually comes with cheese. The portion size for the combo was quite large, and I don’t think it’s necessary to order pita bread since the combo already comes with rice. Service is a bit on the slower side, but we needed a little bit of a break from riding in the car. Staff wore masks, and every other table was available so that customers could socially distance from each other.

For what it’s worth, Insider Magazine awarded it the title for best roadside stop in Nevada this year.

Pros: several vegan options, everything is made from scratch

Kitchen staff weren't wearing masks

I couldn't tell you about the food. Given the pandemic and Nevada state law, I thought it safer not to try. I know masks suck, but health is important.

Pros: Happy Cow didn't laugh at me in this town.

Cons: Insufficient attention to public safety.

Yummy Falafel!!!

The best falafel I’ve ever had hands down! Everything was well done and both the vegans and omnivores were satisfied. The owners are incredibly nice and excited to provide options for all dietary needs. They have gluten free and vegan items on the menu. I would highly recommend!

Best falafel ever!!

I would give this place a 5 star if I could but it isn’t fully vegan so the app won’t let me! Everything made from scratch and they can advise a vegan how to order. Very nice people who care about their customers!! Don’t miss this stop!!

Pros: Vegan options made from scratch , Super nice owners!

Cons: Not fully vegan so can’t give it 5 stars

Delicious vegetarian combo!

Our vegetarian platter was delicious! Get it with a side of pita bread for two dollars. They make their own pita bread. Everything was so delicious I would definitely come here again if I am in this area! Since they also serve meat this app says I can’t give it five stars but I want to.

Pros: The people that work here are very nice, The ambience is great, Food was very delicious

A few good vegan options for a small town

The main vegan option is the falafal sandwich - it used to be that you had to specify the flatbread to make it fully vegan, and not the homemade pita, but they told me the pita is now vegan as well. Staff are usually attuned to vegan needs, but you need to be vigilant all the same. Lentil soup is another good vegan option, but the best so far are the vegan spinach pies, if you can get them - they're not always available.

Pros: Knowledgeable, helpful owners, Accessible location, More than one option

Cons: Still need to be vigilant, Spinach pies not always available

Plenty of vegan options. Good and plentiful portions.

Pistachio baklava is outstanding.

Is the pistachio baklava vegan? I wanted to try it, but I wasn't sure since there's usually honey in baklava.
