Great vegan fast food option - Edit
If you’re having a late night craving and want some chicken nuggets, this is a great place to go. It is fully plant-based and delicious. If you live downtown this is a bit of a trip, located in Little Italy. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for some quality vegan fast food. Just like any fast food place, they don’t have the largest eating space.

Very unexpected! - Edit
This place should be more known. I only found it today and it apparently has been around for years! The food is amazing. It gives off a McDonald's vibe without actually harming the animals or environment! I just had to try as much as I could for my first order and they did not disappoint. I had the twin tacos hardshell (tasted like Taco Bell - but cruelty free), the ChickUn Souvlaki, Crispy ChickUn Combo with a poutine, Taco Salad and ChickUn pretenders combo. I did not eat all this buy myself and have left overs, but it was all delicious and better then I expected. Prices are reasonable as well. Got the Mac & Cheese and a milkshake and wasn't too fond of it, but everything else was on point and worth it. Needs to be more known and needs more locations!

A Bit Too Sloppy - Edit
Ordered the Famous Burger, basically a vegan version of the Big Mac, and I think the whole ideas super cool but the wrapping was already torn apart from the amount of sauce on the burger so it all just fell apart. Not very well presented, doesn’t travel all that well, but cool concept.

Yummy - Edit
This was my first time eating from an all vegan restaurant. I got the classic poutine, chickun Caesar wrap, and a peppermint Nanaimo bar. I’ve never had poutine before but I found it to be really good. The wrap was amazing. There was vegan bacon pieces in it that was a nice surprise. The Nanaimo bar was pretty good but I’d try a different dessert next time.

Fast food made Vegan! - Edit
Odd burger was a decent vegan fast food spot in the heart of Toronto. Completely vegan spot that centers around Seitan-based products (not a huge fan of). It was a good experience but I don’t think it’ll be my “go to” vegan spot next time I’m in Toronto. I wish Doomies/Bar Vegandale was still open!

Best VEGAN BIG Mac ever! - Edit
We were blown away at how good this was. I have missed the taste of the Big Mac for 30 years. This was exactly the same but somehow even better. It’s called the famous burger. You have to try this. Fries were crispy and delicious.

Affordable & Delicious! - Edit
Was surprised to see how affordable the items were at Odd Burger! They have a great menu filled with various items such as breakfast sandwiches, burgers, "chicken" sandwiches, fries, shakes, and sundaes. You order on a touch screen which streamlines the process and food is ready shortly there after. Highly recommend if you have a fast food craving. I love coming here every so often to get my junk food fix in. Highly recommend! 🍔🍟🍦 #Veganuary

Great affortable menu - Edit
Interesting selections of burgers, breakfasts, mock-chikn & other dishes that you could find at a traditionnal QSR. The menu is affortable and staff very friendly. A must-try would be the breakfast sandwich with sausage. So yummy ! Odd burger has a potential to become The next hot QSR chain.

A Vegan Dream Come True - Edit
I tried this place when visiting my brother last December, and I've been thinking about it ever since. I absolutely LOVED the Chickun Pretenders, Crispy ChickUn Sandwich and the fries. It's probably good for my waistline that I don't live closer, but I can't wait to try everything on the menu. Hope we see one closer to Muskoka soon. This place truly rocks.

All Vegan Fast food heaven - Edit
Kids wanted a junk/fast food day and we drove for a long time to get to this location. Amongst the burgers, Mac n Cheeze, Wingalings, Famous and Supreme Fries and a breakfast Faconator our order was huge.
Read moreThe food did not travel well. All the burgers and other items put in two large bags. Upon reaching home found some of the burgers were put or turned sideways. That resulted in the sauces, Cheeze and toppings slide out and made a mess while eating.
The burgers - Famous, Buffalo ChickUN, Cordon Bleu were good other than the messy and sauces falling apart. The Taco Supreme Mac N Cheeze was OK. Taco meat was not up to par as it could have used some more TexMex flavours. The fries Supreme had same flavour as the MacNCheeze. The famous Fries also disappointed mainly because of Bacun.
The Wingalings were amazing. It was hard to decide first which were better Korean or Hot Buffalo. After much debate among the family the Korean was the winner even though family prefers something spicy.
Pros: All Vegan, Junk Food heaven
Cons: Does not travel well for some takeout orders, No loyalty program

Great “fast food” joint - Edit
Pretty much ready at the time suggested.
Read moreFriendly staff.
You can tell they are working hard to get the orders out fresh.
If you are looking for some great vegan options at a price then you found it.
The onion rings are awesome.
My only grip would be that the “burgers” are not more “meaty” by that I mean using impossible or beyond meat. But then I guess the price would go up but it would be great to have it as an option as an upcharge.
Pros: Price, Staff, Menu choices
Cons: “Meat” choices

Vegan Heaven - Edit
I come all the way from St Catharines just to eat here. Globally Local is my favourite treat ever. What’s better than a vegan McDonalds? I cry tears of joy with every bite. Their breakfast sandwich, crispy chicken burger, soft tacos and chicken shawarma wrap leave me speechless in the moment. I couldn’t be more in heaven when I’m indulging in this beautiful masterpiece of a business. There should be one in every city with drive thru’s. To have veganism that convenient and accessible for people on the fence would be a game changer.

First timer - Edit
The place is pretty awesome, my first time going I ordered fries, bigmac and chick’n strips. Everything was amazing, the fries are thick and crispy, held up even after a 40 min drive home, same for the burger, it held up well even after the long drive. The sauce on the burger is pretty much identical to Big Mac, except it’s a little more “wet” so expect to get messy eating this burger. The chickn strips are tasty but a little dry, order extra sauce when you get them. For the price it’s literally the same if not cheaper when compared to McDonald’s or Burger King. For 20$ I walked out with a bag that felt much heavier than I expected. If you went and ordered something and didn’t like it, go back and try something else, they have too much good looking and smelling variety

Pretty good, but inconsistent fast food. - Edit
I’ve been to Globally Local three times now and have been satisfied, yet a little disappointed each time.
Read moreTheir “Famous Burger” is easily my favourite, they’ve nailed the sauce. “The Preposterous” burger was a big let down, the patty was undercooked and fell apart into a slop almost immediately.
The sides and fries have always been the highlight for me.

Food not worth the service - Edit
So disappointed with this vegan business. We ordered a $50 meal with them, using their chosen delivery service, Door Dash. After driving in to the city from the north, we went to pick up our order. They said that the order had been taken by door dash to be delivered to our home. We specifically selected pick up from Globally Local and we showed the confirmation of this to the man at the location. He said it was not his responsibility and we needed to call Door Dash to sort out the error. It seems pretty obvious, that as a business, if you choose a delivery service, this is an extension of your restaurant and the service you provide. It should not be up to clients to follow up as to why an order wasn’t processed properly. Why they feel it’s okay to step away from this responsibility for their client receiving food from their restaurant is ridiculous. So we called door dash and we’re told that they do not take calls from clients, only restaurants. Reconfirming Globally Locals unprofessionalism in dealing with the matter in the first place. So we said that this was the response from door dash and again the man said it’s not his responsibility and “he can’t do anything about it”. Really? You can’t do anything about it? A restaurant where we spent $50 on your business, showed you clear instructions of pick up and not delivery, failure to provide us the food we paid you for, and then that the company you choose to deliver your food will only speak to establishment they are in business after saying it’s our responsibility to deal with this screw up. Way to be service oriented. Really disappointed. Obviously won’t be ordering or going here again. Avoid if you value receiving food you paid for.

Not Sure Where To Start - Edit
We visited Toronto this weekend from the States and I've heard good things about Globally Local, but never visited because London was a bit out of the way.
Read moreKnowing what I know now, I'd go back in time and tell myself to make the drive to London. I can't believe I was missing out on Globally Local all this time. The food is somehow simple but incredibly delicious. The prices are amazing. My kids could eat here for days. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. There is nothing NOT to love about Globally Local.
For breakfast, I'd check out the Venedict before you dive into anything else. It's all delicious, the Venedict just seems to be Delicious+.
For every other meal, the Buffalo sandwich was the best sandwich I've had at any vegan restaurant anywhere, and the fries (all varieties) were amazing. We didn't get a chance to try some of the other Macaroni varieties, the salads, or some of the other sandwiches, but we'll probably be back in a couple months to just try those.
I could eat here every day for a month and not get tired of it. Globally Local is a treasure and should be protected and appreciated at all costs.
Pros: Amazing Staff, Amazing Food, Amazing Prices
Cons: My Stomach is Only So Big, Not Located At My House
