Traditional food you can try

The restaurant is little, decorated in a traditional way.
Only 2 options for vegans (stuffed peppers & stuffed eggplant), these recipes are originally vegan so no new here, you can order them almost everywhere. Very good though, I really enjoyed the eggplant even if the plate is little and you can still be hungry after that.
More options for vegetarians.
Not cruelty-free (in addition to the meat serving), the little bird in a cage as décoration 😡 !

Pros: Local dish, Tasteful meal

Cons: Few options, no adaptation possible, Little portions, A bird in a cage

nice dinner spot!

the stuffed aubergines were really delicious but personally I was not a big fan of the dressing on the green salad. overall I would recommend because they do have a couple of vegan options and the service was really quick&good!

Pros: good service, nice atmosphere

Cons: not really clear what is vegan and what isn’t

expensive for portion size

this is a cute little restaurant with a nice server, however there were only a few vegan dishes available (stuffed aubergine, stuffed peppers and salad). i had the aubergine (only one half) which was very tasty but 550! for 1 half! so i came away hungry. i recommend getting more or going elsewhere as a vegan, although i have no better recommendations.

Very good food

Osaja is a family own restaurant with some vegetarian options in the menu (such us stuffed peppers, rice balls, stuffed tomatoes, different salads and soups). It was a very good surprise for me after being in Albania for 10 days (is not very easy to find veggie/vegan options).
I ate the Moussaka and it was delicious, with that “home made taste”. Furthermore, prices are very cheap. For instance, the moussaka was 550 lek (aprox. 5,5USD)

Okayish food

The food we had, peppers, riceballs, vegetable soup was okay. The vegetarian options my brother had in addition were good. The price we paid was fitting.
The food arrived very fast, but the service wasn’t the best.

Pros: Food arrived fast, Price

Cons: Service

Very tasty

We tried the stuffed peppers (rice inside with yummy herbs, like dill) and the stuffed eggplant (veggies).
My omni bf also had the riceballs but they contain eggs, the waiter pointed that put.

Pros: Very tasty dishes, freshly mase and hot

Cons: Portions could be a bit bigger

Comida casera y tradicional

Nice traditional dishes

Fairly touristy place but the food was really good. Vegetarian dishes are labelled and the waiter was happy to point out which dishes didn’t contain eggs or cheese. We shared two stuffed peppers, one imam bayildi (stuffed eggplant), bread and a salad. The bill for two was 1500 lek with a drink each. Only minor negative is that the food must be pre-prepared as it came out super quickly but wasn’t hot.

Pros: tasty food, inexpensive

Cons: meals were a bit cold
