Nice vegan options with good views - Edit
Have always enjoyed the vegan options here, and they have recently launched a separate vegan menu which is great. Options for breakfast, brunch & lunch, they usually have a few cakes available and also milk alternatives for coffee. Nice views across to the house, lovely balcony area available if the weather is good. Dog friendly both inside and out

A few vegan choices, I had the vegan haggis. Very small portion and expensive. I didn’t check if any cakes were available that day.

Best option for vegans in the area - Edit
Melrose and Abbotsford aren't exactly a hotspot for vegan options but fortunately Ochiltree's makes a big effort to offer some genuinely interesting vegan food with several options clearly marked on the menu. The vegan sandwich was great and they also have some very good desserts on offer too. A great choice if you're in the area.

the (only?) place to go if you’re visiting Abbotsford. Luckily it’s decent with veggie and vegan offerings and decent coffee. It has a great view of the house and is accessible whether you have a ticket or not.

Really lovely place with some really great vegan options including cakes, gluten free and vegan soup and sandwiches (inc vegan cheese). Staff super accommodating and friendly. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and good sized portions for the money.

Great wee place. Friendly service, great location and a few solid vegan options. Servers offered several times to double check with the kitchen and were very accommodating. Good portion size, esp. soups and sandwich deal. Very yummie soup.
