They had vegetables! - Edit
I spent four days in Sevilla and it was a nightmare, vegan food wise. Until on the very last day I stumbled on this place with “veganos” mentioned on their chalkboard. With some hand waving and and Google Translate she communicated to me what was vegan, it rather what was not vegan because that was less) and I had some vegetable “meat”balls with some brown rice and pumpkin (the Google Translate here was to tell me there was a combo with the balls and the rice or sweet potato puree). I also had a simple salad of courgette, mango and pomegranate seeds, and we had a bean stew. Everything was delicious! Just simple good food, and just some frigging vegetables (not deep fried) for once!

Great veggie and vegan options if you are Jamón dodging in this fantastic Spanish market. - Edit
Very friendly staff who humoured my pitiful attempts to speak Spanish.
Read moreThe food is tasty and excellent value.
We had the pumpkin rice (a lesson in the virtue of simplicity), the garbanzo stew, Baba Ganoush, and an empeńada.
A good choice of drinks including non alcoholic beers (in the provision of which I personally rate the Spanish as world champions!).
Pros: Try the rice. Your taste buds will thank you., Excellent value., Friendly staff.
Cons: Lots of Jamón nearby, but hey, you’re in Spain!

Delicious food - Edit
I got some food from Obrador la Osa recently and it was delicious! My absolute favourite was the pumpkin rice with “meatballs”. I also got a vegan tortilla espanol. It was so nice to be able to try this as a vegan because I haven’t had this for years! It was really tasty, but even the ‘small’ portion was enough to feed around 4 people. Lastly, I got a tasty avocado and tomato salad, which was very fresh. I would 100% go back here.

Non-veg spot with a good variety of Spanish vegan options, in a food market - Edit
A good variety of vegan options in a very non-vegan friendly food market.
Read moreI tried the vegan Spanish tortilla (I told the English-speaking server I’m vegan, and she told me they could make an entire vegan tortilla on request) and a chickpea/veggie stew.
Really loved the tortilla!
The chickpea stew was okay — tasty, but only as good as chickpea stew can get, I guess.
Was told all the cakes available that day were vegan, but I didn’t get to try any.

Hidden Gem in Mercado de Triana - Edit
Obrador La Osa is a food stand inside the Mercado Triana. It serves homemade, organic and mostly vegan food. Owners were very kind and helpfully showed me the vegan offerings. I went with the guiso de garbanzos, vegan meatballs with sweet potato dipping sauce, and a kombucha. I sat down at one of the little tables along the side of the market, and they brought me my food. Everything was delicious and piping hot. They had many other vegan items I wanted to try (including dessert), so I will definitely be back. Lovely place.

You can order a vegan omelette and they will make it for you right away. Ángel is a great cook, there is usually a variety and different things every day. Almost everything they have is vegan or vegetarian. It is difficult for me to recommend anything because I have always loved everything I have eaten, meatballs, vegetable stews, super original salads, creams, side dishes of many types, pizzas, cakes, etc.
Pros: Variety of food, Friendlynstaff, Ecologic
Cons: It is inside a market, can't see It from street

Ordered a small tortilla con cebolla, vegan with chickpea flour. Tasted slightly bitter. Not sure if it was the onions. Then tried the albondigas de lentejas. Decent but salty.

C'erano solo due opzioni vegane oggi, entrambe molto buone però, un gazpacho e una zuppa con legumi e verdure. Ottima anche la birra artigianale.

Lovely staff - Edit
Lovely staff but unfortunately I didn’t think the food was well made. Some of the potatoes in the dishes were hard in one dish and then mushy in another, meatless meatballs were dry and the bread had the texture of cake. Nice rice though. I can appreciate it is all home made and healthy but I have made better myself, including the tortilla.

Great bio food, mostly plant-based - Edit
Amazing homemade food and great owners. They put love into what they do and they enjoy cooking for people.
Read moreThey have some different dishes to choose from, some are always on the menu, and some vary from day to day, depending on the availability of the product they have. Everything is bio and they cook from scratch, including the bread. We have eaten there twice and ordered a tortilla to take away and eat on the train, which was made at the moment and was delicious.
Although it's not a vegan spot, it's mainly plant-based. They have a dish made out of meat, a dish made out of fish, and the empanadas contain eggs. The owners are knowledgeable about veganism and help you choose the best options for you.
I wouldn't skip this place in the market, it's a bit hidden but totally worth it!
Pros: Amazing bio and healthy food. Craft beer available, Inexpensive, Adorable owners, wanna hug them
Cons: Not fully vegan, A bit hidden in the market

As you cross the bridge to Triana, please stop by the Market and look for Stall 75, Obrador La Osa for lunch.

I came for the Tortilla de papas y cebollas, made right at the moment, with chickpea flour and black salt. While I was wanting for that I have been mesmerized by the best Albondigas I have had in all my Spanish travels: rich, earthy flavour, made with courgette and light crumbs, they hardly need any sauce as they are moist and delicious on their own.
I chatted to the ladies and I know how passionate they are about food and seasonal ingredients, they are so friendly and warm,it was literally like walking into your mum's kitchen and grab lunch, I felt so welcomed and familiar...
I truly believe that this little place will be thriving and next time I will be in Seville I must visit, I wish I could go there every weekend.
Please don't forget to share photos and comments about these lovely women on a mission to keep rustic Spanish food alive, they are doing a terrific job!!!
