Bit disappointing - Edit
I am not sure if staff understands vegan options. Everything in menu says vegetarian, only vegan labeled item is cheesecake. I asked about vegetarian meals if they are free of eggs and milk and waiter didn't seem to understand too much. Confirmed to check with kitchen but never responded to my question. I ended up with katsu tofu without katsu sauce and no warning that it will come out like that from kitchen.

Nice food, not loads of vegan options, there is probably better value for both Japanese and Korean in Leeds. But it's a handy location for the arena etc.

We had a great time at Oba! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and willing to assist with our dietary requirements (two vegan, one vegetarian). The food was absolutely amazing, so delicious! Would absolutely recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning. 5 stars if I could! I would definitely recommend the toppoki, veggie japchae, radish salad and the yasai yaki.

Fab restaurant - Edit
We ate here before a show at the arena and loved it! Wouldn’t have come otherwise but would definitely return. There are heaps of vegan options (recommend the bibimbap!), fab service and nice chilled atmosphere. Definitely book if there’s a show on at the arena.
