Very touristy place with mediocre food.
Read moreFeels like it is not really catering vegans. My pizza had veggies on it which tasted like a soup fond. There are plenty better pizza places around.

Pizza Fiasko - Edit
The place was filled to the brim; but we have no idea why. Certainly not for their vegan food. Although vegan options were explicitly mentioned, they had exactly one option: pizza. We were not even allowed to choose which pizza: they just covered it in vegetables and olives. Luckily, they didn’t put cheese on the pizza - which made it vegan - but they also didn’t put any spices. After three tries we at least managed to obtain some olive oil which unfortunately also had no flavour. Ah, and we asked for some bread and olives as a starter, but apparently they don’t do this.

Even if it serves meat they are well prepared for vegans. The cook himself asks every single guest how they like the pizza and the vegan ones were TOP! He also told my partner (omnivore) that he uses only the best ingredients and picks the eggs itself from a friends farm. So friendly, so delicious, such a beautiful location!

Ein tolles Restaurant an einem wunderschönen typisch italienischen Platz. Man bestellt nicht nach Karte sondern bekommt verschiedene Pizzas oder Pasta angeboten. Man teilt dem Personal am Anfang mit, dass man nur vegane Gericht angeboten möchte.

Despite being "omnivorous" restaurant it deserves five stars - Edit
I ate there 4 times during my stay in Porto Maurizio, and I can honestly say that they are more than vegan friendly.
Read moreAfter first visit they alredy remembered me and each other time they served a plant-based pizza with different toppings, without asking.
The staff was friendly and realy open and "flexible" in meeting the customer needs.
If I will be in this town again, that will be the first place to eat.
You can eat decent vegan pizza and feel Italian spirit.

Authentic experience - Edit
This is a non menu restaurant so you basically sit down and the waiters will bring round different flavours of pizza and pasta and you say whether you want it or not. Specify that you are vegan and they are more than happy to accommodate and the food is fresh and tasty. So cheap too.
