Not great - Edit
The curries were quite watery, small portions, dal and chana masala were in the same sauce and I'm pretty sure there was butter in the rice. Also they gave us 3 bhaja instead of 4. Quite pricey, too.

Yumyumyum - Edit
There was plenty of choice and all delicious. My husband accidentally got vegan food and my daughter was angling for pizza and they both really enjoyed the food.

Good food and friendly staff - Edit
Good choice of main courses. Lovely onion bhajis to start with. The naan bread contained milk but the staff told us about this and were friendly and helpful throughout.

Nice Indian food - Edit
I went twice to this restaurant which is one of the few in the town of Saumur to offer vegan dishes. It's not the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten in, but it's good and quite hearty. At least all the vegan options are clearly marked on the menu and some vegetarian dishes can also be adapted on request.

Below Average - Edit
To start we had vegan samosas which were really good😄
Read moreFor mains I had the aubergine curry and mushroom rice which was nice enough...
My boyfriend who isnt veggie had a chicken tikka masala, the chicken was completely raw inside.
The waitress came off quite miserable about the fact he didn't eat it all and the she dropped rice all over me as she was taking the plates away. The bill came to €45.90 which I think is quite expensive for 2 small, overpriced curries.
Pros: 3 vegan options on the menu
Cons: Expensive , Small portions

Vegan saviour - Edit
Friendly English-speaking service, accommodating of a vegan diet. Good selection of vibrant curries balancing sauces offering a touch of chilli heat against vegetables retaining just enough bite, garnished with fresh coriander. Rice is enough to share and the style with toasted flaked almonds and dried fruit was a tasty discovery, like the rice version of a peshwari naan.
