We enjoyed the meal yet have had better. Service felt rushed and as if we were an inconvenience although when we arrived there was only ourselves and 2 couples inside.

I had the soup of the day as starter which was a vegetable soup. For the main had the kebab with French fries and salad. They bring vinegar and ketchup and egg containing mayonaise. They didn't have vegan mayo which I think is easy to make. Anyway I didn't use all of that. Only squeezing the lemon of the kebab out to flavour and the salt. For dessert they had only strawberries or pineapple on the dessert card. The pineapple was out of stock and I didn't want the strawberries. It was filling without dessert though.

Fairly busy and decent vibe but incredibly touristy. I had the grilled vegetables which were as it it says on the tin. Grilled vegetables. They did come in a skewer which was slightly exciting but that quickly dissipated as I looked down at my mountains of easy cook white rice and - to be fair - generous salad. There was white vinegar for salad dressing (interesting choice) and a lemon on the side. It was 9.50 which I thought was on the high side but it is in the old town and in the middle of things. Would recommend looking somewhere else before going here if pos. Garlic bread was also a disappointment and v basic.

Choice of vegan options including veg skewers serve with rice and salad, a vegan rice dish and a pasta dish. Staff were really nice and attentive. Busy little restaurant.

It’s hard to find vegan dishes in most restaurants in Albufeira. O Catraio stood out as it was packed when we arrived and had a few vegan dishes. We had to wait for a table

The olives were fresh tasty but the soup was a little bland. Blitzed with no texture and no seasoning. Bread was lovely though
Vegetable spaghetti was nice and quite filling.
Vegetable kebab was really good. It was chargrilled and dripping when it arrived. Veg was Al dente, smoky and delish. Didn’t mange the plate of chips but the salad with it was nice and fresh.
Washed down with one of the best sangrias I’ve had and a good meal for €38.
Would I go back - For the veg kebab and sangria, sure.
Would I recommend - Limited choice but they know what vegan means which is better than the rest in Albufeira.
Pros: Nice place , Not expensive , Nice veggie kebab
