Vegetarian Menu - Edit
We visited the bazar and came to this place, because it was the only restaurant nearby which offered at least a vegetarian menu.
Read moreEach of us ordered the albanian flatbread without chicken. It tasted really good and I liked the Ajvar as a dip, it was also a good amount of food.

Fake vegan dishes - Edit
They have a "vegan menu" section in addition to their vegetarian menu section. In the "vegan menu" there is the quesadilla. I asked the waiter several times to confirm this was with vegan cheese (since I didn't see that anywhere in over a week in Albania) and not cow cheese, and he said yes, vegan cheese.
Read moreAfter the dish came, I was almost sure it was cow cheese, so I asked him to check with the kitchen and indeed it was not vegan at all. I told them they should remove this from the vegan menu but they didn't seem to care or understand at all.
In the end I got a linguini pasta which I think/hope was vegan (though I'm not sure I can trust that the pasta was made without egg inside, since all of them seemed clueless), fortunately it tasted good.
