Creative Lattes & Pastries — Still Waiting on My Letter Over 2 Years Later 🥲 - Edit
Amazing lattes and pastries — creative and beautifully presented! Everything tasted high-quality, though most items were on the sweeter side. I’m writing this review more than two years later and still haven’t received the letter I sent from here, so I don’t think it will arrive, which is unfortunate. Still, a lovely place for vegan desserts and coffee if you have a sweet tooth.

I went May 2024 and got the matcha croissant, tiramisu croissant, black sesame latte and almond latte. It was a nice view at the top and the service was good!

1. If you want croissant or waffle be aware that they start baking them only 1h after they open. Also around 6pm they are usually sold out. (Still didn’t get the chance to try waffle but croissant was def worth early visit!)
2. Everything is very sweet. I really mean it.

Strange experience with strange staff person - Edit
We struggled up the very steep path to the café, but there was no visible menu or offer. Then a young employee came behind the counter and just stared at us completely expressionless, without saying a word. After several attempts to ask if she spoke English and finally trying to communicate via Google Translate—where she just kept repeating the same thing in Korean and very clearly had no interest in communicating with us—I got fed up, and we ended up going to a very nice vegan café nearby instead.

Read moreThe dough is crisp and has a satisfying crunch. Both fillings are rich in taste. One has Lotus cookie and cream, very tender and unique taste witch cinnamon. The smell was divine.
And the other was with Matcha. Since I like matcha and drink it often I knew what to expect. It was a perfect croissant for me, that had this distinct matcha flavour witch slightly bitter taste.
I will definitely want to go there in the future if I have the opportunity. It is a great and convenient location near the Palace.
{Photos of croissants are not good, because I had to take them with me since I was on a group tour and we were short on time. So I could eat them only in the evening ☹ }

Not only can you write a letter to the future but you can eat vegan food and sip on vegan lattes while you do it! I always ask them if they can do an iced matcha with the almond cream and they always say yes. So good!! Pastries do run out quick though and sometimes they don’t have any. Not sure why. Probably all about timing.

So glad I was able to come here! The drinks and pastries are incredible- especially for vegan standards! Plenty of seating as well. Everything I tried was phenomenal. I loved it so much I had to come back again before I left Seoul 😅 Definitely will be back!

We had the signature almond latte and black sesame latte, both so tasty! They use oatside milk and a delicious cream on top of their lattes. We weren’t feeling the croissants today but we went to their other location and they are delicious 😋 especially the coffee one!

Read moreThe atmosphere was great. 4 floors, perfect location, rooftop dining available as well. They are also currently offering a letter writing service, where they’ll send wax sealed letters “in the future”, next year on the day of your choice.
