Vegans beware - Edit
Update Oct 2025: Staff is not very attentive when taking orders. We ordered vegan breakfast tacos and the staff member entered the order in as regular egg and cheese breakfast tacos even though vegan was specified multiple times. When incorrect order was brought to us we brought it over to cashier area and were told wait while they waited on other customers. They said they’d make a replacement but didn’t apologize for the mistake. We asked instead for a refund instead and had to go back up to the counter twice to get this dealt with. Manager was apologetic eventually but really didn’t seem to understand the seriousness of putting in egg and cheese in a vegan order. The cashier who put the order in wrong showed no remorse and didn’t even care. We’ve eaten here many times before but this experience was terrible. Vegans, be careful. The team here has changed a lot over the years.

I’m a big fan of breakfast served all day and these folks offered a harvest tofu scramble bowl that didn’t disappoint. Their scramble was loaded with wild mushrooms, tofu, kale and topped with basil pesto. Really tasty and filling. We also went a little too crazy for their London Fog cookies which were so ridiculously good we had one as an appetizer and another for desert! Menu is very accommodating with vegan options marked clearly.

Super fresh food and lots of vegan options - Edit
We were in heaven ordering from here! So many options. I got a Buddha bowl with chili agave glazed tofu and my partner got a bahn mi with a side of spicy cucumber salad. We were impressed by how fresh everything tasted, it came out pretty quickly, and was delicious! Great selection of juices too.

They have lots of beautiful juices - we got the Smurf juice and sweet & spicy beach, blueberry mountain waffle with a side of superfood fridge. It was delicious.
Third time around - strawberry waffles, mushroom toast, hot and meatless breakfast place. Strawberry latte and hot coffee. All 10/10!

I made a special trip here,
Read morepaid for parking,
walked way down the block,
only to find a sign on the door saying they closed early.
Ok, i get it, stuff happens,
but I was on the social sites and the website.
They couldve posted it somewhere.
So Im venting because this has happened many times when Ive should up to places after checking the website and social and theyve been closed.
Just another lesson for me to CALL before I go !!!

Miss the old menu - Edit

Read moreUsed to be able to get an incredible Just Egg breakfast sandwich with aoli, pickled onions, and vegan bacon on ciabatta. They had amazing Beyond Burgers too, with inventive toppings. And sides.
Since the menu change, we were psyched to see so much labeled vegan, but really disappointed in what that food actually was. We got a BLT which was literally chunks of wet limp tofu hanging out of the bread. So weird!
The breakfast bowls are pretty good, but don’t always want tofu/vegetables. Adding Just Egg back, maybe toast on the side, would be great. Vegan baked goods besides typical “energy balls” or one GF cookie option, would be awesome too, especially at breakfast, maybe muffins or scones.
We don’t live close but we would make the drive for those old menu items, but not anymore. :(
I hope this place takes in the suggestions from local vegans!

I got the avocado toast (one of the best yet) and a buddha bowl with added corn and cucumber. everything was really delicious, well seasoned, and prepared quickly. very generous serving size on the bowl. will definitely be back.

Stopped in for lunch because of the extensive vegan menu. Had the Vegan Banh Mi Bowl and added miso glazed tofu. The bowl is not under the vegan menu so be sure to look at the entire menu so you don’t miss any goodies. It was delicious and huge. Pickled carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, quinoa and some other tasty items. Super-casual atmosphere—order at the counter. Went back for breakfast the next morning before leaving town and had the Vegan Cowboy Plate with scrambled tofu, beans, potatoes, salsa with the Mean Green pressed juice. Friendly locals!

We tried this place twice. Both times we ordered vegan options which were entered correctly on our receipt and they served us meat--once we ordered a vegan BLT and they gave us real bacon; the second time we ordered a salad which was vegan by default and they added chicken to it when we hadn't asked for anything to be added. If you go here, check everything you receive carefully because someone seems to want to make sure vegans eat meat. Super disappointing for a place with a long vegan menu, & evil.

I hadn’t been to the Somerville one in years when we stumbled into this location in Newburyport today! There really is a ton for vegans (and their non-vegan companions, naturally). Today I got a juice and the Southwest salad.

I’ve been to both the Newburyport and Somerville locations and found the food at both to be fresh and delicious. Lots of vegan options, but the bahn mi bowl is my favorite (I’m on a mission to replicate this at home!). They also have baked goods and the GF Vegan chocolate chip cookie is amazing!

We had the Spanish Scramble burrito which was excellent, plenty of protein in a fresh and tasty package! I asked if they use a separate grill for the vegan options and they confirmed that they have a fully vegan grill. So the vegan options are genuinely vegan!
