One of my favourite neighbourhood grocery stores. Has most staples for my household. Love the baked goods too.

Pros: Lots of bulk selection, Prices reasonable for most items , Carries many local Ottawa products

Cons: Certain things are expensive

FABULOUS

My favourite shop! The staff is very kind and helpful, and the selection is awesome. Lots of vegan options, and very little lineup compared to big stores during covid.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Low waste

Cons: Expensive, Limited options

My favourite store

Although it is a bit pricey, that we have to admit, this store is one of a kind. It is a zero waste bulk store, which sells everything from all the kinds of organic grains and beans you may need, to fresh produce and ready-made products such as pesto sauce and samosas...all with bring your own container or you can return the one they give you and get a deposit back.

Apart from food, you will also find a lot of natural cosmetics, hair & body care, cleaning products and also reusable supplies for the kitchen, bathroom...

We personally love buying some items here that we can't get without plastic or can't return the glass container in other places: tofu, vegan cream cheese, kombucha, pasta sauce, vegan yoghurt, coconut oil, peanut butter, pasta sauce...

It is actually their 2nd location, the other one is smaller, on Wellington. This one is even currently open during covid19 and they are doing an amazing job keeping people safe and clean without overusing disposable everything like at Bulk Barn.

Pros: plastic-free, returnable glass containers, organic

Cons: expensive
