State of the Art Spice - Edit
An absolutely tremendous and efficient place with a separate vegan section and where most dishes can be adapted as vegan. Staff are knowledgable and relay orders to the kitchen via headsets and tablets. Our tarka dhal and vegetable madras mains were so good. The Madras had a delightful heat to it as did the Bombay potatoes but to a lesser extent. Make sure you book online to avoid disappointment, this is a great place to experience.

Not totally vegan - Edit
I didn’t dine in, but ordered my dinner as takeaway. Once I got back to the hotel, I was surprised to see the ingredient label—it listed both butter and milk.

Spicy & splendid - Edit
Absolutely delicious food in this high-end eatery. We visited for pre theatre dinner at 5.30 and the place was nearly full by 6pm. Service is very efficient with plenty of attentive staff on the floor. There is an array of options with a page dedicated to vegan curries and another of vegetarian food. One of my favourite Belfast treat spots, highly recommend a visit.

Amazing Indian food and drinks! - Edit
Went the other week with my partner and had an amazing meal! We shared a starter, and I ordered one of the vegan mains with kidney beans. We also got a couple mocktails each and they were so good, we had to stop ourselves from chugging them down. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant! There were several vegan mains on the menu.

Top drawer - Edit
Anyone remember the venue??
Read moreOr the weird place that replaced it that used casino chips to pay for drink in an attempt to bust licencing laws?
Anyway, it's now an Indian restaurant. Have been in here on and off over the years and am usually impressed. It's quite cheffy, top drawer Indian food. It's usually got an impressive depth of flavour and is very popular at key times - book online.
Veg and vegan menu, have tried most things - I'm a huge fan of very spicy food, and have asked for it to be as spicy as they can manage, could still safely rub it in my eyes.
But the depth of flavour and subtlety of the dishes is consistently impressive.
On down side, the major flaw is it's not cheap - they don't even list the prices on the menu - but each dish can range from £12 to £20, so watch out. You can spend £100 on a bottle of vodka with 10 mixers, if you're feeling silly.
Vegan options clearly labelled and separate, just watch you ask for the breads not to be rubbed with ghee (clarified butter, all you southerners stop sniggering).
All in all - pretty good, waiting staff either very attentive or irritating depending on your mood and preferences.
Pros: Quality
Cons: Can I get you anymore (etc)? X 15 , Price
