Novos Veganos is a vegan junk food spot that you need to eat to believe. I got the Grande Vegano which is impossible to eat like a conventional burger but it’s quite the spectacle and bang for your buck if you’re hungry. It’s quite tasty too, but not the best I’ve ever had.

I went for burgers another day too (no pic sorry).
The chickpea patty was ok. Not great. ☆☆
The onion rings were very crispy and delicious though ☆☆☆☆
COVID-19 safety measures was ok in the store:
Staff uses masks;

The ventilation is good if you seat nearby the store's entrance.

O Hamburger estava bom,mas tem melhores em Sp. E a infraestrutura do local tbm deixou a desejar. Eles tem o conceito de cozinha aberta, e vc fica o tempo todo escutando o que fazem na cozinha e as moças do balcão tbm... sem falar que a apresentação do prato tbm deixou a desejar. We came here on a Sunday just before 8pm and it was very quiet, quite unlike one of the photos on HC that made the place practically look like a nightclub. Staff were very helpful and polite. I couldn’t resist choosing the (giant) Grande Vegano (R$31), while my companion was more restrained and ordered the confrontingly named Live Fish (R$22). The Grande was hard work, not just because it was big, but also because it was dense with creamy sauces and nothing like tomato or something fresh or acidic to cut through or balance this, leaving it heavy and stodgy. I tasted the fish burger and it seemed equally unremarkable, and for some reason (maybe my limited Portuguese), arrived wrapped, while the other burger was on a plate, which didn’t impress me. All in all very average and I wouldn’t make a point of going back.

Pinheiros is one of the most expensive areas of Sao Paulo, but the prices at Novos Veganos are fair and the there's some variety considering it's a burger place. Recommended.
