Vegan friendly but also Serbian friendly..? - Edit
Thanks to Happy Cow I came here with a group of 10 colleagues of whom I was the only vegan. And everyone seemed very happy! Including locals, visiting non-vegans who wanted to try traditional Serbian dishes, and me.
Read moreThe menu has clearly labelled vegan options, but as a main course I had the black mamba burger (like other reviewers) which is not labelled vegan but which the waiter assured me was. I loved it, and couldn't notice anything (sauce, bun, patty) that seemed like it could be non vegan.
I also had the (labelled vegan) houmous burrito as starter which was fine but nothing exciting.
My only real complaint about Novak is how colossal the portions were and therefore how much food we wasted. Obscene. I'm told this is just how it is in Serbia. 😩

Elegant restaurant in New Belgrade - Edit
This is a lovely restaurant with an elegant feel in the heart of New Belgrade, Serbia. They have a number of vegan friendly options and service is very catering.

Fancy place - Edit
A fancy restaurant dedicated to the tennis player Novak Djokovic. Allegedly, the restaurant is run by his proud father and because Djokovic is vegan, there are some vegan dishes served.

The vegan "steak" was OK but not great.
Cons: The aquarium with the bored fish.
