Wonderful Food - Edit

Went there in December 2011, wonderful food! Tofu salad, brown rice curry and soy milk berry smoothies...very yummy and healthy! We went back there again the next day, unfortunately they closed a bit earlier. I would recommend this place to people who are vegetarian and health conscious. Will definitely go back there again when I visit Hobart.

Pros: Feel like home, healthy food, friendly owner and staff

Nourish Rocks - Edit

Went here after Mt Biking down mount wellington and the food was heaven and was just what we needed - the tofu on sour dough with heaps of fresh salad served with relish and roasted seeds certainly hit the spot. the coffee was fresh and the service outstanding - wish this place was in Sydney - another table ordered the spiced vegie balls on couscous with garlic yoghurt and that looked devine - good size portions and great prices too - so glad we found this place on the happy caw website Updated from previous review on Tuesday October 04, 2011

Pros: great food, great service, healthy and fresh

Always Worth It - Edit

Although its a bit of a bummer that Nourish (for some crazy reason) insists on having flesh on the menu, the vast majority of their offerings are vegan and completely delicious. These guys know tofu! And the mushrooms...OH the tempura mushrooms, yum! Nice big sexy salads as well. They also do a very good soy latte.

Service is spot on, friendly and fast and all, the atmosphere is chilled and comfortable, prices are reasonable, its my usual go-to cafe in the city...actually I have no criticisms other than the festy dead stuff on the menu (I really don't see the point when they know how to do spot on vego food). Though my omnivorous mates have told me its good, so if you need to take a die-hard meat-eater to lunch this is the place.

Pros: good food, good service, good atmosphere

Cons: meat on the menu

The best cafe in the Hobart CBD - Edit

I have been here maybe as many as 50 times, and only on one occasion has it smelt like non-vegetarian food. They have 2 or 3 non-veg dishes on the menu, and the rest is vegetarian, with plenty of vegan options, including daily specials of soups and curries, and some delicious organic tofu dishes. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about vegan food.

I'd recommend this above anywhere else in the Hobart CBD, and would give it 5 stars on this site if it were possible.

Pros: The food, The service, The atmosphere

Cons: Vegan dishes not marked on the menu

Nourishing for the mind, soul and body! - Edit

This is the kind of place to chill out. There is loads of thought provoking and interesting reading materials around to occupy and inform whilst waiting or eating your meal. The food is so tasty and service really friendly and relaxed. Soy coffee was pretty good too! Could sit there for hours, and watch out the window, read, eat or join up with friends. Comfy couches help too!

Pros: relaxed ambience, friendly staff, gr8 food, juices, coffee
