Ask for the north China tofu (not on the menu), it’s so good! We also love the cashew tofu and veggie fried rice with no egg. The staff is super friendly, and the tofu is deliciously crispy. 🌱
The North China Tofu (not on the menu) has a delicious glaze and goes well with the North China Vegetables (pictures attached). Will definitely come back to try the Kung Pao Tofu and the Cashew Tofu. The Oolong Tea is Caffeine-free, but all the noodle dishes are made with egg noodles, unfortunately. The server was super nice, informative, and accommodating, the restaurant was clean and full of people, yet service was fast. It's expensive, but worth it (the other Chinese food option in town -Magic Dragon- is too greasy and oily.
I highly recommend ordering a dish of the North China Tofu (I don't believe it's on the menu). It has a delicious glaze and we've brought several non-vegan family members who really enjoyed it! Lots of other dishes can be made vegan as well, just let the staff know and ask for no egg or egg noodles. There are plenty of both tofu dishes and vegetable dishes to choose from, and this is a great place to order family-style. North China is super delicious and I recommend giving it a try. Don't forget to bring a reusable container for leftovers, as the portion sizes are a bit on the larger side sometimes! :)
The vegan offerings were limited, but the staff is very responsive and really kind and willing to work with you. The "vegetable menu" had enough options to satisfy many a palette, however. The tofu cashew was especially tasty! My wife and I shared two dishes and still could not finish all the food!
