Let down - Edit
Fast service. The food was okay. Ordered the vegetable lo mein to go, ate half the container before finding a chunk of chicken in my food.

Good option if you’re in need of protein in Gatlinburg - Edit
Nothing new about this form of American-style Chinese food, but I’m thankful for what appears to be an entire block of tofu, as most of the other vegan options in this town seem to be Beyond/Impossible burgers, and I was craving tofu.
Read moreI ordered via door-dash and to complete the order HAD to choose from four non-vegan soups/appetizers to accompany the general tsos tofu (it was a meal/special). I made a comment that I was vegan and asked them to substitute (or just omit) the egg roll, but it came anyways and I had to throw it away, which felt wasteful and gross.

Pros: Large portion size, Understands and accommodates vegan meals
Cons: Could definitely use more vegetables in tofu dish, Door-dash ordering forced to chose non-vegan item

Mediocrity - Edit
I ordered the kung pao tofu, which was alright but heavy on the salt. I did not see sesame or general tsos tofu on the menu as other reviewers have mentioned. The restaurant was also pretty hot so I had to ask them to turn up the AC. It is mostly a take out restaurant so keep that in mind. All in all, if you want a tofu option it’s worth a try but I probably would not go back.

Savior in Gatlingburg ! - Edit
We followed the advice given in the comments and ordered the lo mein pasta, vegetable yellow curry with white rice (when I asked about the fried rice without eggs, I was told that it was not possible as it was already prepared !?). Anyway, the waiter was kind and seemed like he knew well what vegan means! Agreed, with below comments, staff is hovering (and decoration is very dated) but the food was very tasty. The tofu was not soggy and the sauces were flavourful!
Read moreWe were surprised to have to pay cash as there were no signs on the door saying that, also the staff at the till said there was no good Internet connection for the machine to work but on the other hand he was on his phone watching videos (!?).
A tad on the pricey side but next time would try as a take out.

Savior amongst duds - Edit
Great service and good food. I had the general tso tofu with a side of white rice. I also got fried rice with no egg. I made sure with them that I wanted no animal products and went through the list of things that I did not want. They understood and brought out my food quickly. Not the best chinese food I have had but big portions and definitely good especially amongst the lack of options in gatlinburg. I went back the next day to get some more. Highly recommend!
Read morePros: Bunch of vegan options (make sure to confirm), Big portions, Quick and great service.

Decent food - Edit
I ordered the tofu yellow curry with vegetables and white rice.
Read moreThe rice was well cooked but the tofu was very soggy. I enjoyed the sauce but needed more of it.
The employees were very nice but they hovered (working on bills at the table directly behind us and talking loudly across the room).

Convenient for vegan - Edit
The food was ok. They all were masks and respect the max capacity of occupants even if half the room is empty. We tried the tofu casserole ($15) and it was ok, not delicious but enough for a dinner. Fried rice with veggies and no eggs was satisfying as well. Credit card doesn’t work so only accept cash..
