Not a fully vegan restaurant, but delicious nonetheless

This restaurant serves meat options alongside its vegan menu, so just as an fyi.

Order the tofu scramble plate and it was fantastic. The latte was also superb, but they do up charge for all alternative milks (oat milk even more than others).

Pros: Fantastic scramble, Quick service, Knowledgeable staff

Cons: Uncharged for alternative milk

Delicious breakfast

Made-to-order breakfasts are available at the café: Sun 9am-12pm, Mon-Fri 7-11am, Sat 7am-12pm. Tofu scrambles are often hit or miss for me depending on how they're seasoned but this one really hit. Got it as a sandwich on multigrain bread with sautéed onions & peppers and fried potatoes.

There are also plenty of options for pre-made deli food and a changing selection of baked goods (I had an incredible cranberry-cherry muffin with chocolate glaze) with clear labeling for vegan, gluten-free, and nut allergies.
The market section carries plenty of vegan brands if you're looking for groceries.

Delicious to-go vegan meals

Nori’s was a staple for my wife and I on our visit to the Saranac Lake. We loved that Nori’s had delicious, healthy grab-and-go style vegan meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our favorite was the tofu breakfast burrito.

Theee mountain vegan spot!

The go-to place for vegans gf. It really is heaven sent in a small mountain town where it’s rare to find lots of options. There’s a cafe and a market, with familiar vegan products and to-go items like wraps, pastas, salads, baked goods and coffees. Love love love this!!

Pros: Lots of V, gf options, Familiar brands, Good food

Cons: Would like more “warm” vegan meals

Great find!

This is a grocery store with a cafe inside. They have lots of premade items like sandwiches, wraps, noodle salads, and baked goods to grab-and-go plus smoothies and coffee made to order. Items in the cafe are clearly labeled as vegan if applicable, also with a good selection of gluten-free options. Honestly such a great find, as there are not too many vegan options in this area. Stop on your way out of town for breakfast and grab a sandwich for the road!

Pros: Many vegan options, Clearly labeled vegan options, Groceries too

So much to offer

Large selection of drinks and snacks. Deli has fresh sandwiches and wraps, desserts and salads. Great place to shop if you're looking for a niche product.

Great grocery and vegan deli items

Really great place to pick up lunches and snacks for a vacation in the Adirondacks, in an area without many vegan options. My favorite was the curried seitan salad and banana bread. Also pretty good coffee and vegan products in the grocery section. Wish they had more hot items and were open later, but what can you do.

Pros: Delicious vegan pre-made foods, Good coffee, Organic, natural groceries

Cons: Also sells meat, Limited hours

Best Vegan Grab & Go!

Im completely in love with this place. Everyday they have a wide variety of vegan options in their take out section. Smoothies made to order, amazing muffins, take home dinners to tofu eggless salad wraps and burritos! Coffee is awesome with several non dairy creamers to pick from. They also have a huge variety of specialty vegan groceries and toiletries. Fresh, local produce also! There’s a nice sit down area that looks like it will be bigger soon due to the expansion that’s currently happening. Highly recommend a visit to this place.

Pros: Wide variety of vegan to go food, Fresh vegan muffins baked in house

Great Health Food Store

Has a fresh fridge area in the back with soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and more that are clearly labelled vegan/vegetarian. There are also some desserts that might be vegan. There are plenty of vegan snacks to choose from in the store and I always find something new.

Pros: fresh vegan food, many options

Cons: expensive, few seats

A great little natural foods store

I thought this was a great little natural foods store. It had our staples - baked tofu, tempeh, Tofurky brats, organic vegetables, chocolate - at reasonable prices. I did not go in looking for a vegan deli, just regular vegan groceries, which may be why my experience was better than the other reviewer's. We also were not expecting a 100% vegan store, especially not in a small town. We don't even have one of those in our much larger area. This was a normal natural foods store, with plenty of vegan stuff.

My husband and I actually stopped in Syracuse on the long drive up to his parents' lake house, thinking it was our last chance for decent groceries, and we were lucky, after stopping in two stores, to find regular tofu. As soon as we arrived, we saw an ad for Nori's and regretted wasting our time elsewhere. I definitely recommend the place.

Pros: Selection, Prices, Staff

Deli?

noir's is placed in a area that most people think that vegetarains eat fish and chicken...including some of the staff! the store offers a great selection but is over priced...Deli! wow...so most of the food in the deli is not healthy at all and offers very little to vegans. [edit by staff]

Pros: good selection in store, freindly staff

Cons: over priced, deli sucks
