The sushi pieces look amazing, and taste even better: I found it to be a perfect balance between excellent consistency and taste. The taste, in turn, appears to carefully combine subtle, but also deep and complex tastes, leaving you mesmerized after the first bite.
The sets I ordered were brought in intervals, with the first plate coming soon after ordering. This allowed me to enjoy the sushi as fresh as possible; a detail I appreciated very much.
Finally, the different plates with varrying pieces came with a certain synergy between them, as if the Chef was guiding us me on a discovery path of tastes.
One can only imagine the effort and dedication it must have taken to achieve this culinary perfection. Huge respect to the Chef!
This small restaurant is run by a family. From what I understand, the father prepares the sushi, while the mother and the son serve customers.
In addition to the amazing sushi, the beautiful environment and the lovely service staff make a visit to „Nori“ an unforgetable experience.

Very friendly waitress, and even one of the kitchen crew came to answer our question in person. (Whether they'd already found a good vegan mascarpone or cream cheese. Like us, they'd tried a few but didn't find a flavour they liked)
Read moreMost of all, the various sushi we tried, tasted really good. We have to go back there to try more. Also have to try out the non-sushi dishes like vegan Babi pangang or other wok dishes.
I don't say this often, but this is definitely a place to revisit. Go Nori!

Went here with the meat-eating gf. And afterwards she exclaimed this was the best vegan sushi she ever had! And she has had sushi in Amsterdam, Berlin and NY, so that says something.

Such a great experience! Lovely staff and amazing menu. Had sushi was which one of the best I've experienced alongside some sides (watch out for gyozas/spring rolls as they are ridiciously hot and I burned my tongue!), and a black/bean and curry mains with veg/tofu. Food was amazing and we loved sitting at the bar tables watching the world go by outside. Amazing experience (minus the burnt tongue 😂)

The BEST VEGAN restaurant in town ! Everything is extremely delicious. Definitely must-visit place. I simply come every week to try new tastes. There is a lot of options in the menu very wide selections with a full vegan menu. The staff is super friendly. I love it here ! I can’t get enough of … sushi, rolls, gyoza, spring rolls, tjap tjoy, nasi, noodle, wonton, fried banana… and all others. SUPERB !

Best vegan sushi ever - Edit
I chose to go with two of the sushi combo options and I received multiple plates of a variety of sushi ranging from simple classics such as cucumber maki to vegan inventions with crispy battered chicken uramaki with a golden exterior. They even had an uramaki with vegan fish eggs coating the outside.

I went in super last minute on Sunday to have some sushi. They communicated that I would only have the table for about an hour & if that would be ok, I gladly accepted and had some great sushi.

I am very impressed with the food that I was served. The restaurant is a blend between japanese sushi and chinese wok. The service was very friendly, good and fast. Also a nice addition is that its a family restaurant. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Rotterdam!

De verrassing van de avond was de gefrituurde banaan die ik als bijgerecht at: romig van binnen en knapperig van buiten. Volgens de ober bereidt de kok (zijn vader) de banaan al tientallen jaren, waardoor hij het heeft geperfectioneerd.

Love the sushi here! And fully vegan!We had a sushi box with several kind of sushi and a fried sushi roll. I especially liked the crunchy "shrimp". Very nice people. Small place with not a lot of tables but nice decor. Will definitely come again!
