CLOSED: Nordlys Cafe og Spisehus
Serves meat, vegan options available. As of August 2016, the chef is vegan, yet there is no mention of anything vegan on the written menu. The menu changes weekly, and is visible on the Facebook page. Is possible to enjoy a 3-course vegan dinner without reservations, but reservations are suggested. Dishes include tapas, lasagna, pasta, burgers and others. In the fall of 2016, the restaurant will go through a renovation, with a new concept focusing on slowfood and being sustainable. Reported closed January 2017. Kitchen closes 9:00 pm.

Nordlys - a great choice! - Edit
Ever since Souls, a vegan place, opened as next door neighbors to Nordlys, it probably isn't the easiest to get vegans to go to Nordlys. They should though, because Nordlys is great!
The chef is vegan herself, and she is very creative and an excellent cook. If you want to go with people who is not open for vegan food, they also have meat on the menu and I would say it's one of the best places in town to go to eat with omnivores.
