Very good coffe - Edit
Capuccino was the best I’ve had in a while. Prices are fair for the location and the quality of the coffee. Changing cakes, we’ve had the vegan banana bread which was good. Also gluten-free food available.

Lovely lunch spot - Edit
Stumbled across the Nord Coast cafe on a walk today and popped in for coffee- ended up having lunch and we were delighted by the fab vegan options. I had the Greek breakfast and my husband had a hummus pita, both were lovely. Really friendly staff and great service too.

Very lovely cafe with delicious options - Edit
I found the cafe through the HappyCow app. An absolute stroke of luck. The cafe is beautiful, the staff super friendly and the coffee is probably the first that can keep up with the coffee from my home bouldering hall.
Read moreI had the "energy acai bowl" which was super delicious and lived up to its name. We are here for the Lion King musical and I now feel able to play the role of Mufasa. All kidding aside - the bowl was absolutely delicious and super varied!
Absolute recommendation for anyone who is ever in Hamburg.

We had been recommended Nord Coast as a great breakfast eaterie and they weren’t wrong. What a treat! I had the vegan Greek bread / breakfast which was beyond delicious and my husband had a fruit waffle which tasted as good as it looked. Service was super friendly too. It was so good we went back for lunch…the panini’s are a little different to those we get in the UK but they were perfect on a hot sunny day…I had mine with homemade lemonade which was super refreshing. Highly recommend and it will be our first stop when we next go to Hamburg.

Super nettes Personal, gemütlich eingerichtet, leckere Getränke und das Beste: ich habe eine wahnsinnig leckere vegane UND glutenfreie Waffel bekommen! Davon war ich sehr begeistert, denn es ist wirklich schwierig, in Cafés/Restaurants etwas Veganes zu bekommen, das gleichzeitig auch glutenfrei ist (normalerweise bleibt mir da immer nur ein gemischter Salat mit Essig und Öl).

I was really excited about that as it's really hard to find something vegan in cafes/restaurants that's also gluten free (usually I'm only left with a mixed salad with oil and vinegar).

Super liebes Personal! Getränkepreise etwas happig (4,5€ chai latte ( 0,5€) oder kleine Limonade für 4,5€). Leider keine glutenfreie Milchalternative und Limonaden lecker, aber vom Geschmack nicht super außergewöhnlich.

The waffles are really good, very crunchy and beautifully plated. We had to wait quite long to be seated, but it was worth it. Wish it was fully vegan though.

Vorab: der Kaffee und das Essen ist so gut und liebevoll angerichtet, dass es echt entschädigt hat. Aber ich habe über 1h auf einen Sitzplatz als Einzelperson gewartet (!)und wurde regelmäßig mit „noch einen kurzen Moment“ vertröstet, sonst wäre ich definitiv früher gegangen. I love their coffee & the vegan energy-açaíbowl. Definitely one of the best açaíbowls u can find in Hamburg. But I would recommend to make a reservation on busy days. The stuff is also very nice!😄

Limited Vegan Options (Oat Milk) - Edit
There are only about three vegan options on the menu, but the smoothie bowl that I had was quite delicious. It was not very filling as there was not a lot of substance to it, but the flavors were sweet and tangy. The only milk alternative was oat, but the latte was quite good. Table seating is also limited, so we ended up eating on a small couch and coffee table. Lots of the area was furnished with animal skins

Wartezeit knapp 30 Minuten bis man einen Sitzplatz bekommt, weitere 40 Minuten Wartezeit um ein Panini serviert zu bekommen. Knapp eine Stunde Wartezeit für Pancakes..
Read moreObwohl viele schöne Plätze frei sind (Reservierungen) wird man direkt an die Tür gesetzt. Leider steht die Tür die ganze Zeit halb offen weil so viele Leute warten was im Winter ziemlich unangenehm ist.
Reservierungen werden auch nach der reservierten Zeit fast 30 Minuten noch freigehalten, obwohl eine lange Schlange wartet und die Person nicht erscheint.
Pros: Ein paar vegane Optionen, könnte aber mehr sein. , Essen ist okay
Cons: Meiner Meinung nach viel zu lange Wartezeit , Zu unrecht gehyped

Read moreWhen you enter the cafe, the waiter guides you to a seat. It was quite crowded when we visited - which gave a nice vibe. The interior has a cool design with several coffee production artifacts. Minus point: the menus are made from leather.
