Great Upscale Thai food - Edit
Norah has a small seasonal menu that they change up regularly. When I went we got the larb croquettes which were beautifully served but also very tiny so if you are going with more than 2-3 people maybe get another appetizer. The larb had such an interesting flavor and texture combo though, I was very impressed by it. Then for my main I got the Suki which was good but I wish there was some sort of protein in there as it wasn't very filling, if I got it again I would add tofu for sure. Then for dessert we split the Mango Sticky Rice which was AMAZING! It was warm, sweet and creamy you've gotta try it if you go.

Great atmosphere, yummy food - Edit
Loved the vibe of the place and that it's all vegan and plenty of options. I will say I wish they had a few more different options with more veggies and no peanuts or coconuts on more options. It is also a bit pricey but overall loved!

Must visit in Portland - Edit
This place had a cool ambiance and some of the best Asian inspired food I've had in my 5 years being vegan. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Among the best - Edit
We ordered 3 appetizers and 4 entrees, all were excellent. The food came out amazingly fast; it would have been impressive if we were the only ones in there but the place was almost packed. We'll be back for sure.

Unbelievable - Edit
We ordered the samosas, cauliflower curry, mushroom linguine, ty-basil cocktails, and mango sticky rice. Everything was out of this world delicious and refreshing. The linguine was definitely the star of the show, but the cauliflower was also incredible. If someone put a huge platter of the mango sticky rice in front of me, I would probably eat it until I was sick. I’ll definitely have to visit again any time I’m in Portland. If you’re thinking about trying Norah, stop thinking and just go.

My new favorite - Edit
I ordered take out, had the pad Thai with a side of garlic greens and the sautéed mushrooms. The pad Thai was a generous portion and everything tasted great. Mushrooms were cooked just right & tasty. I really enjoyed my meal and will return to try other menu options!

All about the flavor - Edit
Flavorful and original. Beautiful presentation. Attentive service. Focus on seasonal vegetables and flavor - a nice alternative to the over saturation of deep fried, faux meats in Portland's vegan food scene. We will be back - often!

Pretty good - Edit
First off, I love the decor. So many plants with bamboo lining the walls and big windows. We got the larb croquettes and I really liked them. We also got the dumpling soup to share and I didn’t like it very much. There is fried garlic on the top of the dumpling and it is so overpowering you can’t taste much else. I ordered the pad Thai for my dish and I enjoyed it. I appreciate the vegan egg being added to it to make it taste more authentic.

Tiki Thai - Edit
We discovered this new restaurant just 3 days after grand opening with 0 reviews posted, and boy were we glad we came !! The food was fantastic and 100% vegan. We ordered the larb croquettes, pad Thai, and coconut mushroom linguine. The taste and textures were delightful. So much so that we added on coconut banana split at the end. We can’t wait to try everything else. The restaurant had a tiki island vibe, and we could only imagine what a fun place it will become during the summer months with the windows open.
Read moreUPDATE — We’ve been back a few more times and loved it every time. On our most recent visit, we got adventurous and ordered one of the “medium” spicy dishes (drunken linguine) and it was unfortunately too spicy for our delicate palates. The server/owner noticed we weren’t eating the dish and she offered us a replacement dish on the house! Thank you Norah Thai !

Flavorful, complex dishes. Way above and beyond a typical Thai restaurant. We had the tofu wings, cauliflower curry and mushroom wonton soup — all amazing. I’m sure the other items on the menu will be equally as mind blowing. We’ll be back very soon!

Update 1/28: Wingz and Pad Thai were 💯!
Read moreReally enjoyed our first visit to Norah! What we ordered and our thoughts:
- Norah Sour: Fruity and fun mocktail! Didn’t miss the fact that there was no alcohol
- Samosa: Super tasty and comforting. Wish there was more for the price, though.
- Cauliflower Curry: Our favorite dish of the evening! The cauliflower packed a punch of flavors and heat. The pickles were a great addition to cool down your palate.
- Drunken Linguine: Another flavorful and spicy dish. We really enjoyed the tofu and soy curls, but overall the dish was just okay.
Overall a great first visit and already looking forward to coming back to try the Tom Yum Wingz and Pad Thai!

Soooo Good! - Edit
We ate here for the first time tonight and it was fantastic. Just really flavorful. I got the coconut mushroom linguine and it had such a unique flavor. My partner got the cauliflower curry which is listed as a medium spicy dish. She loooves spicy food so it was all good for her, but be aware it is pretty spicy for medium. It tasted great, not your typical curry for sure. Honestly we can’t stop talking about what we are going to get next time we go. We will definitely be back soon. Also the staff is super helpful and friendly! #Veganuary

Delicious new vegan on the block! - Edit
They only recently opened, but we have already been twice. Both times we have had very fresh, well seasoned and delicious vegan dishes. Norah is the latest spot by those behind Mestizo and Kati, but for me Norah has the best of the three. It isn't exclusively Thai like Kati nor does it have the seafood options, which Mestizo has. Instead what is on offer is an exceptionally delicious, creative Pan-Asian plant based menu that is its own identity.

The food was excellent. You should definitely come here and bring a date. It’s really cute and tropical vibes inside to demonstrate southern Thailand. I’ll be dreaming about the Thai basil entree and spicy mushroom soup. The summer roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. 10/10, I recommend it and I’m looking forward to returning soon to try more dishes! 🤤

Norah rah rah! - Edit
I ordered a Norah Roll and Pad Thai. The Norah Roll included seasonal greens, grilled tofu, vermicelli noodles, and herbs. It tasted fresh, and the peanut sauce was a mix of sweet and spicy. Though I enjoyed it, I think it was overpriced for one roll. However, the Pad Thai was fairly priced considering the large portion. It included tofu, JUST Egg, bean sprouts, chives, peanut, and lime. Pad Thai is my go-to Thai dish, and this was the best I've had!
