Serves meat, vegan options available. Serves four types of vegan breakfast bowls, two vegan lunch bowls as well as vegan cakes and brownies. Reported closed November 2024.
Just happened to walk by this tiny place and remember seeing the name on Happy Cow so went in. Three of us were extremely happy with the vegan choices on offer as the menu appeared more vegan than not. Our favorite dish was the 'toasted banana bread' which was so good that I ate the whole thing myself and had to order another one to share as originally intended.
Lovely little cafe in Frome, very friendly staff and food was great. They kept good social distancing measures too. Could have had more vegan options, but what they did have was nice. On the more expensive side.
This is the perfect little place to come for a vegan lunch in Frome. The flavours and presentation of each dish are incredible.
I tried the small tofu bowl with seaweed, teriyaki and nori and my companion the tunabowl with noodles and nori- delicious!! The teriyaki sauce especially deserves a mention. I disagree with the comments below, and found it it to be good value for money especially considering how tasty it was.
Next we tried the turmeric latte, brownies, peanut butter cups & bliss balls - all of which the best of each one I've ever tried- congrats!
The owners Millie and Jake are friendly and approachable and service was quick and efficient, despite the lunchtime rush (it was really busy).
I would give it 5/5 stars if Happy Cow let me.
Thanks so much!
This is my second visit and it didn't disappoint. Vegan soup and pizza. And the lovely staff member even made me a vegan cupcake for my visit which was amazing!!!!!! Can't get better service than that.
The food at Nook looks beautiful and tastes great. The ingredients are fresh and light and I would definitely visit again, but only as a treat on a quiet day.
Whilst the food is amazing, it is quite pricey and the small portion is absolutely tiny. Also the place itself is tiny and you can really only comfortable sit there as a couple, provided that both tables inside are free. The seating at the bar is very cramped and uncomfortable.
If this business sticks around and I hope so, I hope they can find a bigger and better space and increase their portion sizes by about 20-25%. It may be this is what it will take in order for them to be able to stick around as at the moment they are charging London prices and with a place this small they won't get much trade. Especially not with so many other, better value for money options in town.

Delicious, with variety and options a plenty for vegans. - Edit
Started with a friendly welcome which always makes the difference.
Read moreSoups or bowls both with vegan options which are clearly labeled.
Vibe is chilled out & cosy though a bit snug.
Food arrived in good time and was a wealth of taste in a bowl. Shout out to the pickled mushrooms (totally yummy).
I am now gonna grab one of their yummy looking sweets to go.
Yes, slightly on the dearer side but for what they are doing with the food it was, in my opinion, worth it.
