Good food could use more vegan options

I live close by and was excited to hear that Cafe Nola owners purchased and were going to open. Had to wait through Covid and was not disappointed. PLEASE include more vegan options that are home made. No Beyond or Impossible stuff please.

Highly recommended for vegans and their non vegan family members.

Pros: Good food , Cozy atmosphere , Nice place for a quiet date with a loved one.

Cons: More chef created vegan options please

Rich and satisfying

This is a sister restaurant to Cafe Nola in Frederick. Wait staff informed us the owner is interested in expanding the vegan selection and that hearing two vegans came and enjoyed the food would "make his day!"

Latte with oat milk was really good, so smooth. Miso carbonara was delicious though pretty oily. It had some interesting mushrooms on there. Server informed us that vegan butter was used on the garlic toast. Tofu sandwich was light and delicious. Side of tater tots were very salty and good.

Didn't have dessert but apparently there is a mango sorbet that's vegan. Server said ice is used rather than ice cream so anyone can enjoy it.

The atmosphere inside was classy and rustic with large art pieces, wine everywhere on shelves, and brick interior walls. It felt like dining in downtown Frederick.

Pros: Friendly wait staff, Ample parking
