Stall consists of a table with two types of vegan noodles (one with tofu, another that is brown) and two types of lettuce wraps (one with Lao eggplant dip and noodles, one with lemongrass and ginger). Peanuts, chili powder and whole dried red chilies are added to taste. Food is served in takeaway carton boxes. The lady speaks English and confirmed that there is no egg, no meat and no fish sauce in any of these dishes. Open Mon-Sun 6:00pm-9:00pm.

Filling and inexpensive local dishes

The lady understands English and confirmed that there is no fish sauce in the noodles and lettuce wraps. You can choose from two types of lettuce wrap fillings: eggplant dip or lemongrass and ginger. She makes them fresh for you on the spot. They are both delicious and it’s 10,000 LAK for 10 pieces (you can mix and match). She also has dark brown noodles and white noodles (10,000 LAK per serving). Servings are generous! The food is cold, but comes in a cardboard takeaway container so you can save some for later. We asked for extra roasted peanuts on top of the dishes and a few dried red chills on the side.

This stand has no signage and is just a table set up across from the vegetarian buffet (which also has no signage - look for a lot of plates of tofu and vegetables). They are both on the night market food alley that starts next to Indigo Cafe.

Pros: Very inexpensive local vegan food, Friendly and accommodating staff , Delicious food and sizeable portions

Cons: Bags of non-veg food also sold at the stand
