Mislabelled vegan menu, they wil mis-serve you veggie food - Edit
TLDR: was served non-vegan food before being told that 90% of vegans eat eggs and/or dairy so it’s ok.
Read moreI am never happy to give out a one star review but unfortunately being wrongly served non-vegan food when I specifically ordered an item which was labelled ‘vegan’ on the menu, warrants the one star.
The menu is laid out in a terrible fashion with vegan labels being thrown around like they mean nothing. In my case, ordered a rice dish which was labelled vegan yet had a description saying it contained egg. Of course having spotted this I ask if this is vegan or not as it describes containing eggs. The waiter comes back to me having asked the chef if it can be made vegan and she says yes. I receive my rice course. I eat half of it and start to notice a cheesy taste. I search through the rice and notice cheddar cheese.
I bring this up to the waiter who knew I asked for it vegan and they said, and this is a quote:
“90% of vegans eat eggs or milk”
Apparently a vegan label on their menu means nothing according to them as a lot of their supposed ‘vegan’ customers eat eggs or dairy. I explained to them calmly that is the difference of vegan and vegetarian and that they should just put the word veggie instead but they would not listen.
So, not only I was mis-served non vegan food but I also had to argue with the waiter to explain to him what vegan even means… after they spray the label all over their menu like it’s nothing!
As you can see if you’ve read this far, I am quite furious. Just save yourself the 550 nok on this terrible restaurant. It is far too expensive anyway.
Pros: Central location
Cons: Mislabeled vegan menu, will lie and serve veggie, Extremely overpriced even for Norway, Bad decor

Very very good - Edit
I would have given 5 stars but because it is not an all vegan restaurant, they get 4 stars. We took the vegan sharing menu and it was outstanding. Great service.

Really good vegan bao buns - Edit
I ordered the vegan bao buns from Wolt, the reason i subtracted a star is that they dont label that the buns can be made vegan on this delivery app. I wrote a request to make them vegan in the notes for delivery field and they did, the buns themselves were great!

Best curry I have ever had - Edit
This place is not located where this map says, so use google maps! It’s on the expensive side but it is sooo good! Got the red curry, best sauce I have ever tasted, went back the second day, had the vegan ramen, also delicious, the vegan pad Thai was unlike any I have had before. Bottom line, pricy but worth the price! If you are in Stavanger I feel it’s a must, vegan, vegetarian or whatever you feel like having, can’t go wrong here!

Delicious - Edit
Although expensive (as Norway tends to be) we absolutely loved our food here. Food came quickly and was really tasty. One of the better Thai curries I’ve eaten. Portion sizes were huge, even for my partner who can eat a lot of food.

Good but overpriced - Edit
The food was nice, but average. I thought the price was too high for very small portions.

Vegan options - Edit
Good location but kinda crowded. I tried the vegan ramen signature dish but it was really not my cup of tea. I'm think I would have liked the vegan phad thai if I had chosen that though.
